Yup I read that, apparently he's not a happy boy the deal fell through but who can blame him.

Honestly I'd never heard of the guy before yesterday so much more happy we're going for Kabak who I wanted us to sign in the Summer as a replacement for Lovren.

Pleased with this deal and if his stats are anything to go by then he'll be a very good option for us until VVD comes back. With the Kabak deal pretty much done these 2 can get up and running straight away i think. Not too conserned that Davies is from the EPL and Kabak is in a really bad Shalke side, when you've got the best goalie in the world behind you and getting Fabinho and Hendo back into midfield then they'll have plenty of protection.

One of my poker mates big Preston fan. He says that he's very good, never watched him before I asked if he was Premier league standard? His words, I don't know but hopes so. Apparently they turned down 4.5 million at the start of the season hoping he would sign a new contract.
