Pre-Match: Liverpool v Man City Sunday 7th Feb 16:30 Kick Off
      Feb 04, 2021 01:10:11 pm
Massive game not just for the title race but for our apparent new target - top four.

Let’s hope Alisson, Fab and Mane are fit, if so:

      Alisson

      Alexander-Arnold
      Phillips
      Fabinho
      Robertson

      Thiago
      Henderson (c)
      Wijnaldum

      Salah
      Firmino
      Mane

      Subs:

      Kelleher
      Kabak
      Davies
      Tsimikas
      Milner
      Jones
      Oxlade-Chamberlain
      Shaqiri
      Origi

Not sure if Klopp will start either of the new CB’s, I think Phillips has shown he’s up to it at least until the new guys are up to speed.

It’s not all doom and gloom, we have Keita and Jota to come back soon, and considering we have had a massive injury list we have done ok.

I’m actually going for a 2-1 win here, I think we will score a late winner, and kickstart a winning streak  :kop5cf8koxp6:

All of us should be banned from ever posting anything looking forward to Naby Keita returning. He is totally unreliable (maybe no fault of his own) and I expect him to be sold or loaned out at a massive loss this summer.

I think he's clever enough to know that all it takes is a large collection of people on Twitter (City, Utd, Everton fans, etc) to type in #kloppout and its trending.

100% agree - the guy seems capable of injuring himself getting out of bed in the morning... one of our worst moves in the transfer market and £40M down the toilet.

It's probably the worst game to try it out, but I think we've got to bite the bullet and start Davies or Kabak alongside Phillips, to free up Hendo and Thiego in midfield (which is what Klopp should have done second half last night, giving Davies some game time).

Klopp didn't seem too optimistic about Fab or Sadio coming back soon, but that could just be him keeping the opposition guessing.  If they don't play then I'd have Gini and Jones starting.

On the back of this bad run I'm kind of hoping for one of those dour, tactical draws; I'm sure we'll throw everything but the kitchen sink at them for the first 10/15 minutes, but if we play as badly as we did last night it could get messy.

Has anything good to come out Twitter? for anyone? what a waste of space that place is.

As for the game, Trent needs to remember defending is part of the game and the entire team to realize you cannot win unless you score.

Who would have thought that Fortress Anfield would suddenly disintegrate at the turn of the year? It's unbelievable that we have not scored at home so far this year.

The same midfield 3 against this lot will be suicide. Henderson or Fabinho (ideally both) need to play in the middle for this one.

Dropping bobby for curtis Jones is a mad shout. For this specific fixture, bobby is one of the first names on the team sheet.

It won’t happen, but I would not care if Klopp started our two new center backs. If healthy, Fabs in midfield with Hendo and Thiago. Take the chance, F**k it. But, I’m
not the coach and we need to support whoever he puts out.

      Agree.

Firmino is a must for this especially if Mane doesn't make it.

I also agree with at least one of Hendo or Fabinho in midfield and even though many disagree I'd be playing Kabak no matter what at CB, be that beside Phillips or not, so we get Jordan in midfield.

Funny how you go from being sick of football,to being buzzing for a game in a couple of days 😆.
Should be a good game, and a win would be a huge confidence boost.
