Think they will be - don't want them going out and getting sent off, but the away match were VVD and Thiago got injured will have to be in their minds.
And it was a massive win against Leipzig.
Hopefully both things will push them on in this one...

It'd never happen in football, but in hockey you'd have your designated hard-hitters / fighters to go send a message in situations like this and f**k someone up.

Tommy was just a bit before my time billy but the blood & thunder derbies of jimmy case, souey,Steve macca & gerrard I do remember and I do miss those kind of derbies & I miss the real hard men of football & what I’m trying to say is that both richarlason & Pickford aren’t hard men they are just a snide pair of fuckers who have to resort to that kind of football to gain an advantage cos they can’t beat us any other way, even with our  hard men of my generation we still twated them & we continue to do so without any real hard men.

Think we're both from a similar era mate, I became a red mid 70's but didn't actually see us live til 83, so I just missed Sir Bob's final season, Uncle Joe took over , my first live game we battered Luton 6-0  Rushy scoring 5 the King scoring 1, a week later my first derby obviously, we won 3-0, I'll never forget that game, I got grabbed round the throat by this blue kunt in the Kop, then he let go I gave him a wee Glasgow kiss, I got dragged away by some Red fans to which I remain forever grateful,  that was my introduction to a Merseyside derby,  it's funny cos I was accustomed to the Glasgow derby but never involved in any sh*t, became a Red to escape all that bollocks and look what happened,

Yeah I miss the good old days,  added to the excitement all those proper tackles,  gone a bit too soft these days unfortunately 😂😂😂😂

Trouble is mate if those hard men were playing today those same snides would be falling about everywhere and no doubt all see red with them acting like they'd been f**king shot ever time there's any contact.

Back then stuey players often got straight back up and retribution wasn’t far behind for the offending player & That’s  the thing with modern football today to much Oscar performances,I’ve still got no time for players who shitout  of tackles and turn there arse against an incoming ball because it may hurt them.
