Yeah this is broadly how I feel. Whole season has been horrific, starting with not even being able to celebrate the title properly.
Only issue is, no Champions league next season would be fairly disastrous

Will be sh*te not being in the Champions League mate but I'm optimistic in the mid-long term because the majority of this side have won it before, along with the premier league and the world club cup, so hopefully their heads won't be turned. On paper it's still a world class squad - touch wood normal service resumes in August. Wash our hands with this campaign and go again

 I think we are already fighting for 4th spot next season, City, Utd and Chelsea will be ahead from the start. Between us, Spurs and Arsenal for 4th.

Not that it makes a huge difference but we've only got one top eight game left - away at Man Utd.

United, Chelsea, West Ham have got 4.

Leicester have 5.

Everton have 3.

Can't believe I'm having to analyse how many games West Ham, Everton and Leicester have got. Shambles.

Klopp just said in his interview that it was due to tiredness, but all 3 up front have sucked so he coming off is not unwarranted.

In 12 games since Palace Salah has scored from open play in 2 of those games. Not doing much either.

That's fair enough then, he wasn't happy about it though was he? I just think his presence on the pitch can get you a goal out of nothing, he certainly looks shattered though.

Teams in Europa suffer in the League. It doesn't make sense but it always happens in the PL

West Ham and Leicester are not top teams. We should be able to overcome them eventually.

Think playing Europa League has got a reputation for knackering teams with there being more games than a CL campaign and a lot of the sides being in countries which are a bit further away.

It's a trophy at the end of the day though, my view on it is that we could play second string and still make it through the group stage. Then take it seriously when the knockouts start. Obviously we all want the Champions League first and foremost. But I wouldn't look down my nose at the Europa Leauge

May have been his first full season, but that was a great run to the final. Beating Villarreal and Dortmund was epic. Back then we were early in the process of getting rid of the dread. Right now we are a much stronger team and we would be able to rotate for those games.

The European hangover isn't just exclusive to the Europa though. We beat Real Madrid at the Bernabeu in 2009 then got smoked by Boro at the Riverside a few days later 😂
