Tbh at the time, the Fowler deal was actually good business, it was just the manner in which he left.

Probably right just at that time he was my favourite but looking back was the right move.

A lot of people's favourites, but during the season or so previous I remember an awful lot of "what the F**k is up with him" watching Fowler during certain 3pm games.

FSG ? Why are you bringing FSG into it ?

And you are aware that not every post is aimed at you - you aren’t required to react to it

You literally responded to me you muppet. And the same goes to you, you don’t have to respond to every post.

It’s clearly not distracting him on the pitch

      Let’s just enjoy the title

It looks like all 3 will go and major rebuild will be required. I’ve accepted it now tbh

Look on the bright side, we should see 5-6 brought in if all 3 go

Was carrying a lot of issues with his knee until he had the serious injury

Yea if all three do go I think we'll see 5 players come in.

As far as Salah goes we'll look to reproduce his output from 2 players not simply just replace him per se.

And the occasional night out as well.

      Fowler was no angel.

Do you think 5 is enough if all 3 go?

I would have argued we need at least 3 players if none of them left. CB, CM and CF.

      If all 3 I would say 6

      We know Trent is off

      So rb is 1

If vvd stays a cb is needed anyway with one going out. If he goes then 2 cb are needed imo

      Cm regardless

Nunez and cheisa, no point in having those two. I would bring in one quality forward and use Eliott as the 6th

If Salah goes then an extra forward on top

So for me it’s 4 if vvd and Salah stay and 6 if they leave

But I think we will see a cb leave and a couple of forwards

It’s more going to be replacing players leaving imo and an extra added in midfield

It's hard to say mate but thinking about it if all 3 do leave then we may have to park a few other exits that may otherwise have happened.

Take Salah for starters. He goes then you may have to keep one of Nunez or Jota and Chiesa becomes more of an option. You but the best Number 9 you can to hopefully, and that's a big ask, replace Mo's goals.

Virgil you do buy a LCB and keep Robbo and Kostas.

Trent is the one personally I think is the outlier and many maybe will disagree but I'm far from convinced on Bradley long term and and even if he is again you then have to think how to replace Trent's creativity from somewhere else as Conor ain't that guy with the best will in the world.

All three leave and we don't buy a CM in my opinion and that is parked for now.

We really want to keep him we've allowed his contract to run down to the final 3 months, not only that...there's been no progress whatsoever over the last few years.

He deserves better and wherever he ends up playing next season will be one lucky club.

When it comes to contract extensions there is always two parties involved

I'd say there were 3 parties, 2 sides but 3 parties and I'm also of the belief it's more the club holding back than the player seeing as we have 2 other key figures in the same scenario, not to mention we're stalling with Ibou & Diaz.

Are we stalling with Konate and Diaz ?

I’ve helped the club draft a press statement on this! For the fun of it!

Sample Press Statement just for fun!
Liverpool Football Club would like to announce that the departure of three key players from the first team squad at the end of the 2024/25 season. They are namely Mo Salah, Virgil van Dijk, and Trent Alexander Arnold.

The club is of the view that their last season with the squad would be their best season ever and renewing their contracts at significantly higher wages would be financially unjustifiable.

The club would like to thank them for their services and contribution to our success and we wish them all the very best in their future endeavours.

The club will look to replicate our highly successful transfer strategy by continuing to acquire high potential young players at attractive transfer fees, and developing them into world class players. Our success will also be supplemented by developing our academy players into world class players.

In line with our long-term vision of making the club a worldwide commercial success, our scouting team is currently hard at work across the streets of Merseyside to identify the next Mo Salah, Virgil van Dijk, and Trent Alexander Arnold.
