Bowen would be super, smashing great. Definitely worth staying out of the black and keeping him in the red.

I like Bowen a lot and would like us to buy him but he's just signed a new long term contract. I don't think we'll pay West ham's asking price for a player his age. He's their best player now Rice has gone and I don't think they will want to sell him.

Similar to Son at Spurs, would have fitted into our team and style of play but we probably missed out opportunity a few years ago.

Don't know how we'd replace someone like Mo when he leaves. They're either a hugely undervalued hidden gem, which are harder to find these days, or a massive amount of money. I like Bowen but there is just no comparison. One or more of the forwards have to be absolutely out of the very top drawer. Also I don't see any valid reason Mo should be leaving when he is still by a distance our best forward? Why would you go to that dead league in Saudi? It's nuts. He has loads of time if he really wants one last big payday.

Think people don’t understand the competitive nature of Salah - he wants to play with and against the best

I see him signing a new contract not leaving

      On the way down? Behave.

And he's still our best player.

Things look a bit fragile defensively for us in the coming weeks. Robbo not close to be being back so totally dependent on Gomez on left back and we look light at centre back too given Konate's fitness record. Doesn't help that the only fit 6 we have is off as well soon.

Think it's imperative we bring in a defensive player in January.

Look at the guy he's a physical beast. I'd be looking for a 3 year contract extension on the same money hes on now.

Hendo to tell Mo Saudi is sh*t to seal the deal.

Oh that would be lovely. If anything because his dad is one of my all time favourites and all I hear is that he's almost a carbon copy of his dad in terms of playing style. :D

Liverpool join Atletico in race for El Khannouss

Liverpool are set to enter competition with Atletico Madrid for the signature of Genk midfielder Bilal El Khannouss, according to the Daily Mail.

Atletico Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen are also scouting the 19-year-old.

The Reds are reportedly tracking the versatile Morocco international as a potential long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah.

The policy could be to just keep buying good midfielders. :D

I can get on board with that.

I feel like Philips would have been a good player to have. He's going to West Ham on loan and I believed that he could be of good use here. Luckily Endo has settled well and MacAllister is growing into the job now. But Philips is EPL proven, has experience and is a specialist of the job.

And Man City would have never sold or loaned him to their only direct rival.

They sold Zinchenko and Jesus to Arsenal, without any problem. They sold Sterling to Chelsea.

I think the clue was in the word ‘rivals’. Only Liverpool have shown they can keep pace with City. Chelsea’s rivals these days are Palace and Bournemouth. Arsenal, while best of the rest last year, never really convinced anyone they were going to challenge.

If we're in any danger of losing Salah in the next year or two, I'd be happy with Pedro Neto as a replacement on that right wing. Tons of pace and grit, and has taken games over single handedly for Wolves over the last year or two. Just 23 years old as well.

Neto is a good player but he benefits a lot from teams leaving space in behind, which they're willing to do at Wolves and not as keen on it against us.

I still think he'd be a handy addition to the squad though because in certain games he'd be deadly and be a good option off the bench when the opposition are chasing the game.

Having said that, I don't think we're at risk of losing Mo any time soon.

I'd say with Klopp leaving the likelihood is the likes of Adrian, Matip and Thiago will leave in the summer.
With a new manager probably wanted a couple of new players coming in the bigger question is
does Salah also move on now.

And even bigger question...do any of the other players move on? It will be interesting to see the pull the club has vs the pull Klopp had.
