Adams was held back by injuries a lot. Seems to have gotten past them and his game has rounded out well. Easily our best player and at only 23 he will be snatched up by a bigger team sooner or later. Would love for he to be Fabinho’s deputy.

I like Adams and he's a terrific battler/disruptor, rbut I'm not sure he has the quality with the ball needed for us. Yunus though is on course to be a world-class box to box midfielder. His skill set reminds me more of Gini than Adams' does. If we were going to sign an American, Yunus is the one I'd want.

It's their best crop of talent in a while. Out of interest, has the US ever produced a genuinely world class player? I can't really think of anyone apart from Zak Whitbread.

I'd say no. The closest thing you've had is Puslic, and he's missing something. I don't watch him enough to know what it is. When you see him some games you can't believe he isn't a nailed down syarter for Chelsea and he impresses you. The next game he's hardly involved.

Adams and Musah are the closest thing to big talent that we have. Musah is a MFer with the ball at his feet. Spooky speed carrying the ball. Hope he keeps improving

World class? def not. Donovan is probably our best field player and he was not world class. Pulisic could get there as he's only 24 but even then who knows, not likely. Howard and Friedel were good goalie's though.

probably no outfield player I would call world class. Have a few starting players at Champions League sides now so there's some optimism

I did not watch the game but it seems to have been a very good game from him. I suspect we'll be interested in strengthening our midfield. We should be. It's where we're the weakness given that Ox, Keita and Arthur are big uncertainties and Thiago gets often injured too.  I'd really like us to have a CM who can boss the game.
