I’m not sure why people keep suggesting Grav in this. Macca moves up in this scenario and Grav stays where he is.

      Then it’ll be total football.

Yep another one like Zubimendi coming in allows MacAllister to play where he should be in my opinion.

Tailor made for that 10 role

      What happens to Soboszlai?

Stick him out wide or rotate with Macca.

If he performs better than Zubi, he starts. If not, he doesn't. Don't mean to sound flippant, but that's how it pans out for me. Just like folk are saying Zubi doesn't start ahead of Grav right now. It's all down to the performance they put in.

Edit: I think they play different midfield roles so take the above with a pinch of salt.

Szoboszlai won't be competing for the Zubimendi position.
Gravenberch won't be competing for the Zubimendi position.

As it stands the player that is playing out of position for the benefit of the team is Mac Allister.
If Zubimendi is signed, that's where he goes.
Then it's Mac Allister or Szoboszlai in the AM role.

Thanks for clarifying. Has to be Mac for me then.

reports saying that Zubimendi regretted his decision not leaving Sociedad for Liverpool

Just requires Gravenberch to sit with a meme of Lucas going "unluckeeeee"

Only issue is they'd raise less than a Freddo bar seeing as they're about to become free agents.

Well clearly meant in the summer when you would of still been able to get a few quid.

Forest Murillo is some talent. Left footed at only 22. Wins EVERYTHING in the air, at only 6 foot. Looks for the big switch passes while in possession.

Watching Bundesliga highlight shows, Stuttgart again having a very impressive season. They gave Madrid a run for their money at the Bernabeu and just thrashed Dortmund 5-1 on the weekend.

Millot and Stiller are definitely 2 to watch for the future.

Funny. We should be moving to get him in january. As it is and in reality, we will sit on our hands, talk a great game and he will be a city player by january and the meme will be on us. A player of his age and ability and what he could do for us ... for 50m. We should be sat outside his front door.

Even F***ing funnier, he made the decision to stay at Sociedad and Ryan has been our best F***ing player, so I couldn't give a shiny F***ing sh*te about some c**t who won't sign for us and I will back the lad putting in performances.

Ffs what happened to backing our own?

Still think we can have both Grav and Zubimendi in the same team, which entails moving up Mac further forward

      Grav    Zub

          Mac

This would mean Dom would drop out so probably a no go. However I do find him quite inconsistent and frustrating to watch and still feel he has not really shown his full potential. Which is unfortunate but his transfer fee was not small and should be expected to perform better.

Slot has played a blinder with Grav in the double pivot and I hope he stays there. But we should not turn down the possibility of improving the team and that is the position we can still improve. Grav can be the perfect compliment to Zub.

When Salah needs a break Szoboszlai could play off the right.

Tell ya what, I hope Mo doesn’t leave but if he wants to F**k off, let’s hope we are seriously looking at that Adeyami from BVB. Looks sensational.

We could turn him into Mo Mark 2.

Sky Germany reporting we’ve been looking at both Omar Marmoush of Frankfurt and Karem Adeyemi of Dortmund as possible replacements for Salah.

Ademeyi has struggled for consistency. Started this season well but not he's injured
