It's an Away match plus Wolves are in a bit of a dip. If Klopp plays the same team as Wednesday then we win, if he reverts to Fab as CB then who knows.

I see no reason to change anything from the other night. Jones for Gini maybe, that man must need a night off

Have to credit the ability of some here to immediately place a negative, pessimistic context on any thread on this site. You are consistent in conjuring up the dark cloud (and always in the context of Jürgen doesn't know what he's doing, but you do).

Chelski lost 2 points today. This is still possible. But again: I'd heavily focus on CL (which is not a point here, but in the upcoming future).

I'd go same again, this is the last game of the month for us so there will be some decent time off for everyone before the internationals after this.

Not expecting much from the league now but would be nice to push on from midweek.

You can't be serious?Naby to start for who?no way does Divock deserve a start, same team as midweek and carry on the winning run,we will have to be careful not to play a to high line as wolves have quick players and Philips is not the quickest and like's to move forward beyond the halfway line.

Diogo gas just returned from injury. Want to see him out again for doing too much too soon? And Divock made a huge impact when he came on. Naby for Gini. Gini deserves and probably needs a rest and Naby needs game time, plus he’s more of an attacking threat.

Wolves will park the bus as that’s what is Nuno’s default, can’t blame him he learnt it all from Mourinho.

Tempted to say Start with the same team as last time but Robbo and Gini desperately need a rest.

Hard one to call. Our league form has been so dire that I have little confidence it will pick up soon. That being said, we have injured players coming back and have just had a morale boosting victory in Europe.

If we lose, unless my maths is wrong, it’ll be mathematically impossible for us to win the title, which back in December would have been laughable.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Davies start at the back. Otherwise similar team to the other night.

      Phillips.
Davies needs to start sometime. Arsenal next isn’t a great game to do it. He needs to be integrated in case we really need him soon.

An ‘OK’ partnership might not cut it against the better teams.

or perhaps Davies and Kabak they would be a disaster, I'm a firm believer in the adage "if it aint broke why fix it", especially when you are in a tricky spot. We desperately need some stability at the back and we also need to build some momentum after a very promising display midweek.

Top 4 unlikely but we can give it a go but would need to be prettt flawless from now until end of season.

I feel quite confident that Davies and Kabak is not "the dream ticket."  :lmao:

Pearce writes that Klopp believes Davies needs more time to adapt to Liverpool's style of play. At some point it's evident that Jürgen does not rate him highly enough to pick in the starting XI (like when he picked Rhys Williams over Davies last week), and barring any evidence otherwise, I'm inclined to take Jürgen's opinion for it. When we say "Davies has to start sometime" well in fact, he does not have to. You'd like to think the players that are recruited will be good enough to be picked at some point but, that doesn't mean the manager is obligated to do so.

It's a weird one I know, but I really don't expect to see Davies in action for us this season unless maybe we have a dead rubber toward the end, or we get another wave of center back injuries.

Which is odd considering Phillips and Williams are simply not good enough.

All of our final ten games are finals and are must win if we still have aspirations of a top 4 finish,  this will need everyone to be on it %100, no slackers need apply,

Understandable some want to keep the same side V RB, but RB didn't park any buses whereas I  think Nuno might, maybe not so much park a bus but certainly be more defensive, so I'd go this.......

                               Allison
              Trent Kabak Phillips Robbo
                             Fabinho
                   Thiago             Keita
                Jota        Salah      Mane

Toyed with the idea of dropping Bobby into midfield with Fabinho and Thiago with a front three of Jota, Salah & Mane,  but we'd probably get run over by their mids, and it's not the time to be experimenting when we're chasing a top 4 spot, I seen enough against Leipzig to convince me that finally we can start getting back to somewhere near how we can dominate teams again when you have round pegs in round holes ,

There was a better flow to our game and you could see the confidence that it gave our players when playing close to what they were more familiar with, there is no reason we can't do the same at Molyneaux tomorrow,  same recipe please with added tempo and Bob's yer Aunty.

      1-2 Champions

All to play for with other sides dropping points. Obviously important to try to pick up three points against Wolves tomorrow night.

Yup. Win tomorrow and we’re 5 points off Chelsea with 27 to play for. Not easy, especially since there are 3 other teams ahead of us, but definitely not out of it.

I'd play Phillips and Kabak again with Jota up front instead of Salah. We need to rotate these forwards. I think Jones, Fab and Keita in midfield.

Agree, plus after this game there is plenty of rest with the international break.

At this point i have no idea who is going away on internationals or not, but i hope our "key" players choose to skip meaningless friendlies to stay and rest and focus on finishing the season strong.

I think Jürgen will change the team again,Firmino unless injured will come back in for Jota who has just come back from injury and he may put Fab back into the back four as wolves have a lot of pace on the counter and Philips is not the fastest and is caught out of position a lot when he steps up,have a feeling he will play Ox tonight.

It’s World Cup qualifiers not sure if Jota has been called up need to check later on today. Portugal going to play their home games in Italy so that their players from the premier league do not have to quarantine when they return to the uk

I'd go same again and build on the result last week.

We couldn't have a better opponent, a team that wants to play football, is out of form, lost their best players & captain, and hasn't a clue how to win back to back games in the league. Woeful at home, so my only worry is that we are at home.

      view from Wolves forum ffs.

I've got a lot more hope for tonight than expectation.

Be nice to see more of the Liverpool from midweek than last weekend, and if the team is the same then hopefully we will.

I'm about 10% more confident for this league game than our last one.  Goals for both teams tonight - hope we've took our shooting boots.

Hopefully, we won't have to worry about top 4

Chance of us finishing top four now must be less than 10%.  Fulham result was probably the nail.

It's a shame that Chelsea and Leicester don't have each others points totals because Leicester do have a more difficult run in.  You can't see us collecting 27+ points and Tuchel's honeymoon period wearing off in time.

100% Chelsea in the driving seat but if we can get a run going and keep them on edge well we just might do it.

No team, bar City, is immune to dropping points anywhere, and history shows that teans will drop crazy points on the run in.

We have dropped our share of crazy points so if we cango the opposite way and string a bunch of wins together.....just maybe

      Looking forward to this tonight.
I hope the starting line up from last week stays unchanged.

I hope Jota doesn't let the return to Molineux affect his game.
We've all seen it happen over the years.
I get the no celebrating thing, so I hope he scores a hands down poker face silent hat trick ;D

I still think its more likely to be Leicester that we snatch Top 4 from. If they lose Vardy they are fu**ed, even with him they are in extremely patchy form, don't let the Sheff Utd match fool you.
