Don't know why, but the colours remind of either a Tottenham home shirt or a England Cricket top.I'm looking forward to the yellow 3rd kit, that looks nice.
Always a big fan of these.
Brilliant gesture whoever did thishttps://twitter.com/Kititout1/status/1413861006653145090
Had an e-mail from Sports Direct today advertising the new away shirt for next season - cost £104.99 WTF !!! Surely they can't justify charging this. Mad prices.
Even £70 is ridiculous for what is essentially a T shirt but that's where we're at nowadays.Compare it to NFL and F1 merchandise and it's still pretty reasonable to be honest but for an adult wanting to buy it then I don't have much of an issue. My issue is with the kids pricing as I can only imagine the struggle parents have to kit out a couple of kids with the new gear
The prices aren’t great at all - modern commercial football
That’s the catch 22 though right? We want a big transfer budget but then we turn around and want low prices for the kit (which we make most of our money on as a percentage of sales). The whole Nike deal was bad business IMO because we should have just negotiated a bigger initial outlay instead of banking on our popularity and banking on the idea that people would shell out big bucks.
Agree mate.I've no really issue with the adult stuff as if grown ups want to get fleeced so be it Just think a bit more could be done on the kids stuff. Maybe not? But I'd like to think so.
A kit is a kit - fabric plus printing. Profit margins just get fatter.
Is that for the regular replica or the more expensive one that's meant to be an exact replica of the matchday shirts (materials etc)?
More than likely at that price I'm guessing.
The cheek of it.That concept doesn't work in any other form of life.Essentially they're saying "you want a replica? Ok take this overpriced shirt". So you pay £70. Then they say "oh you meant you want a replica replica. Ok take this even more overpriced shirt" so you pay £104.99.Want a curry? Here's one for £10. Oh you meant you want an actual curry ok that'll be £35
The fans are treated shockingly, I just feel sorry for Parents who have 3 or 4 kids and they all want the new kit, how the hell do you afford that.
