Milner had three weeks off, hope he can fight for every ball. Chelsea gave us a slight chance.

Hope we work our socks off.

A win could really improve our top four chances. I look for Milner to do Thiago's pressing for him. Hoping for a big game from our outside backs. Come on boys!

Would have liked to see Jota start, think Firmino has had enough chances this season, and for the most part has been sh*te.

Hoped for a Jota start, but understand why Firmino is in.

At least we have options off the bench.

Can we get 2 early goals and enjoy the game? Never going to happen ha ha but I can dream

Decent line up with good options on the bench for midfield.
Did expect Jotta to start though. Suppose Bobby will be fresher, just hope his form has returned.
Need to get Keita on if it’s tight. Give them a marauding midfielder to worry about.
      Silly me, I’ve gone 1-3 🙄

Surprised Milner starts and Jota who was on fire for Portugal isn't starting, maybe Jürgen has an eye on Madrid on Tuesday?the door now open for top 4 i thought Jürgen would go all out for the win here because Arsenal will do what they always do under Arteta and sit many players behind the ball and try and counter and score with set pieces, come on redmen

Surprised Milner starting but fine with him, his experience is priceless and we need a leader in there anyway, got a good feeling about tonight, for me it feels like our troubles are behind us now and despite still being without the big fella & Joe I think we really have turned a corner and we’ll start seeing a more familiar Liverpool,

That rest will have done us the world of good too, especially for those not on international duty, it might be a tad early to be assured of a Kabak/Phillips partnership but they do have some minutes together and will have gotten more familiar with each other at Kirby, I’m certainly have more confidence in them than I used to,

I can see us dominating the game, Arse are half decent when they are on it, but consistency is their enemy so who knows which Arsenal come to the party tonight, the onus is on them to come out and play, and Arteta is not the type to park any buses, this could be 4-4, or a boring 1-1, but I’m confident that we will win it.

      1-2 Champions

Jota has had a full week playing and travelling Bobby has been at Kirby and at home with his family. I'm guessing the boss fells Bobby is better rested and fresher. Hope he's right but Jota coming off the bench is a pretty good option.

Just praying our mojo is back, and we can take the game to arse with a bit of pace, quick passing and swift movement. Plenty of pressing snd winning the ball high up the pitch, and putting our chances away.

Thank F**k proper football is back.  I'm sure the reds are a lot more interested than they were at 12pm today.

Arsenal blow hot and cold, we blow hot and cold.  A very interesting game in prospect!
