That cross from Trent, though? Jeez. Ironically, it was as bendy and awkward as Gareth Southgate's unqualified and ugly f**king Chevy Chase.

He put at least 3 world class crosses in, no wonder Engerland are sh*te with that f**king clown in charge!
Personally made up our man doesn’t get selected cos they kick f**k out of our lads and they come back crocked.

I said earlier Arsenal were dire, huge difference with no fans, as we have found out, i know we played well, but doubt they would have been as bad as that with a full stadium, went with Jota for motm, simply because of the impact he had when he came on, hopefully he starts against Madrid, great to see us play the way we can, feeling confident we can beat Real over 2 legs 😊

Header was better imo, easy when your 6 foot odd, but the power from a smaller player to direct  the header exactly where he wanted it to go. Plus I already know on his day Trent can do that, but I'm getting impressed by the fact we've got a natural goalscorer in Jota.

Nice to get a win at one of the teams we usually struggle away at. A late flurry of wins may get us top 4.

I just can’t get over the Fact that it proves that we have thrown the season away by playing one of our best players out of position and disrupting the whole balance of the team - rather than just getting on with it - still it could be worse we could be arsenal

If there's a team least affected by the lack of fans, it might be Arsenal and their ever optimistic fanbase. They'd probably have booed their team off at HT at 0-0.

Excellent result and best performance we've had in 2021. Fab, Trent, Jota all brilliant. Also credit to Jürgen for the attacking change which instantly made a difference. Feels good to win again!

All I've got to say is that many football fans on here were calling for the return of Fabinho and Henderson back into midfield from January.

Klopp fu**ed up for a bit and us fans were right for a bit. Lets hope we do finish top four.

What we seen was a more familiar performance, the fluidity was back and with it sharp crisp passing, the way we hounded after the ball once we lost it was impressive, Arse struggling to get out of their own half most of the first 45,
On another day we would have bagged 5/6 with some of the chances we created, it was only a matter of time until we scored, my only gripe being it should have happened earlier, you could sense the feeling of relief when Jota scored that fantastic header from that world class cross from Trent,

I don’t normally blow smoke up my own arse but I knew we would see a more familiar performance and said so before KO, just had a feeling that something has changed, a bit like shackles off our back, our final league placing is in our own hands and I believe we can go unbeaten rest of the season,

We have RM next in the CL and i already feel sorry for them, although still a decent outfit they will struggle with our intensity, We’ve seen already how crisp and sharp we are with our passing, that will continue and in fact will probably improve, the confidence is back and I can only see one outcome, we play better away from Anfield as has been the case of late, and that won’t change.

Much better all round from all, in particular Mane, Trent, Robbo before he got tugged, but my motm was Fabinho, what a player he is, he was outstanding yet again and proved for me he is the best DM this side of Saturn’s rings, he controlled everything in front of him and never gave Arse a sniff, Phillips & Kabak must love him because they didn’t have to cope with too much at all, can’t remember how much we paid for this fella but he must have quadrupled his value since being with us, not that I would sell him, no chance of that, I’d sell Salah first he’s that important, What a player, simply World Class !

Although I'm very happy about the performance, after thinking about it, I have to say that the team had an issue in the first half. So many wasted opportunities until Jota came in. This is worrying.

Don't get me wrong. Defence was good. Fabinho was awesome but in front, we were too wasteful. It could be fatal against bigger opponents like Real Madrid.

He’s as good as anyone as a starter. When a game kicks off, you sort of get an idea of what you’re up against as an individual. You get the pace and movement of your opponent as the game warms up, and try to cover that.
Jotta is top drawer, imagine how it feels to see him come on when you’re just starting to feel it in your legs. That’s gottta be gut wrenching knowing what you’ve gotta try snd deal with.
Not saying he shouldn’t start, of course he should. You should know my opinion, start EVERY game full strength, and make changes iff and when necessary.
I just love the thought of that impact he has coming on a bit later, like half time.
