I'd prob have started Thiago/Jota, but looking at how they did when they came on, don't think that'd have made a difference.
The Salah chance after 2mins needs to go in, Gini should hit the target with his 1st half chance.
But thats the season, plenty of the ball, unable to score.
Defense did their job - kept the clean sheet.
But up front, just not up to it again. Decent in patches but can't really say any of the front 4 did well tonight.

His goals tally speaks for itself, he scores 20 league goals or more a season and has the most in a PL season. His conversion rate is higher than Harry Kane who everyone states is world class, so because he’s missed a few tonight he suddenly needs replacing?

Good performance tonight, albeit we ran out of steam the last 15 minutes. The subs didn't work - Mane had been causing them problems down the left, but didn't when he switched to the right, while Jota was poor down the left - thought he should have played thru the middle, with Mo and Sadio staying in their usual positions.

If we'd taken one of those chances we might have turned it around tonight. But we gave ourselves a lot to do after that dire first half in Madrid. We kept a clean sheet tonight, but needed to be clinical at the other end and weren't. We didn't have as many gilt edged chances as the commentators made out, but we had enough to take 1 and put the pressure on them. Restored a bit of pride with a good performance, but were asking a lot to turn it round and couldn't quite do it.

Defensively they were very good both legs, and deserved to go through. (The ref was good tonight as well - let the game flow and was fair, in contrast to that pr**k in the first leg.)
