Would be equivalent to how much the Man City players have put in mentally over a longer period of time, or how about top golfers, snooker players, tennis players etc etc etc. What the actual f**k do think these people are paid such obscene wages for, certainly not to be mentally midgets???

So no you don’t get it then, fair enough

old enough to know when a manager either throws a match or is such a f**king idiot that he takes off his best attacking talents whilst leaving his worst players on the pitch.
Honestly if that was not done on purpose by Klopp then he is an idiot, literally none of those subs made any sense at all.

      And as for this  :lmao:

Much much better than Curtis Jones though as is Bobby, those two players are automatic picks for Klopp, irrespective of how sh*t they play the "best" manager in the world will NEVER drop them.

Jürgen is looking to get sacked so he can take the Germany job, if he had an ounce of integrity he'd resign, but he's as greedy as all the other managers and players in football.

Oh dear is that the best you've got, tut tut!!!

Why are Liverpool players burnt out but City players not?

Because it’s like debating with a bin or my 7 year old, I mean take a step back and read what you write

You could suggest that City hit that wall last season, finishing roughly 20% down on where they have for numerous years and we took advantage of that

If you know anything about this club you know the pressure it brings, the expectation, the weight of the shirt that players and managers have spoken about for decades and every year we didn’t win the league that weight would get heavier and heavier
Had these players and this manager fell away say after the 98 point season, a record for this club, a record in running up and a points total that would have won every league season bar one then you may have a point. But they didn’t, they came back again, they beat City and everyone else, literally they beat every single club in the league last season, they won 27 of their first 28 in fact and they won that first league title that we have all craved and that numerous managers and countless players haven’t been able to do

They did that in a league now where it’s not really a level playing field, where this City team has options no one else apart from maybe Chelsea can choose from

So having achieved all that, adding the CL, the super cup and becoming world champions yes they maybe have hit a bit of a mental brick wall
Then take into account al of that and add in the pandemic we and they are living through, now of course everyone is living through that but when you add that to the potential mental burn out and consider that we have for example numerous Brazilians who’s country are dealing with it seemingly awfully and they haven’t been able to get home and see family, add to that the managers mother dying and he hasn’t been able to go home and greave with his family or say goodbye.. the goalkeeper the same

But no, some pr**k on the internet can say they are sh*te and not give them the credit and support they certainly should have earned from each and everyone one of us, he can say the manager is throwing games or trying to get sacked or is simply greedy when that couldn’t be further from the truth and if you believe that you simply can’t be right in the head

City have dropped off in the league in the last couple of seasons from where they were points wise and performance wise but they have the depth of quality to bridge it better than everyone else in the league

The league is down on quality, only two teams are tracking above 2ppg so that tells its own story about where every club is mentality and physically

Much much better than Curtis Jones though as is Bobby, those two players are automatic picks for Klopp, irrespective of how sh*t they play the "best" manager in the world will NEVER drop them.

Then you say this about Curt

He was injured last night, hard to play someone when they’re injured

He has played 30 games this season in what’s his breakout at the age of 19

But no you ignore the facts

Jürgen Klopp is the best thing in 3 decades to happen to this club and has won us the holy grail as well as other massive trophies and you can’t show him the respect he deserves and in the least the respect he has earnt, then yes and I’m sorry but you’re the worst type of fan

No, I said Klopp either threw the match, because he was pissed off at the owners, or he is an idiot. If you disagree with me can you make any sense of the substitutions he made last night. For example is was clear to everyone that our midfield lost all momentum and control second half, yet no changes made there. It was also clear that the odds were high Leeds would get at least one goal, yet he took off our two best attackers, ok Mane for Salah was ok'ish I suppose but Ox for Jota, WTF??? Why not take off Bobby who yet again was utter crap and play Mane, Salah and Jota and replace Gini with Keita.  Also why on earth keep playing Robertson when he has been bang average for most of this season.

Then Klopp needs to get a better squad and to start using them, for example we have a young Left Back who can't get a game for love nor money and why Curtis Jones has fallen out of favour is a complete mystery to me.

BTW why would squad size have an effect on mental burnout???

So the City players don't have any pressure on them then, is that honestly what you are saying???  BTW why on earth do you think the Liverpool players feel the same hunger and desire to finally win the Prem as we do, do you not realise that for the vast majority of them Liverpool FC is just an employer, of course they want to win , but to suggest they have the same desperation to win is absurd, it might be true of someone like Trent but that's about it.

I would suggest that the mental pressure of being a City player is far greater as there is much more competition for places whereas someone like Bobby knows that as long as he is best buddies with Jürgen he's a guaranteed starter irrespective of how sh*t he plays, where is the pressure in that??

I will always be grateful to Jürgen for the success he has brought to the club but he has always been an incredibly one-dimensional manager and he seems to be getting worse and worse, making more and more stupid decisions, I think its time for a change.

Explain his subs then, was that a manager trying to win a tight game, taking off his best attackers and not fixing a midfield that was clearly over run?

We have questioned subsitutions for years, its what fans do especially in games we dont win. We question who comes on, who comes off, the lateness of it, the need or lack of for it but to throw that claim at a man like Jürgen Klopp is way below the belt.

Id like to think you are devcent enough to retract it, unless its intention is to wind up people. If you are genuine in your support then you already know your statement is out if order

No one really interested in the game last night all that much but boy that that 2nd half was a horror show.

Must have been the slowest midfield ever put out by LFC, once Milners legs went around 55 mins and he couldn’t cover for Gini sitting in his deck chair all evening we were on the back foot.

Next season we need some young legs in midfield, it’s fine signing Thiago but under Klopps system runners are so important.

I will not retract it, I'm not suggesting Klopp took a bribe or anything dodgy like that but I do think he deliberately wanted to lose or draw that game yesterday to sick it to the owners, that was my instant gut reaction at full time and I have not changed my opinion. Klopp usually makes slightly weird subs but yesterday was even more extreme in my opinion, keeping Gini, Milner and Bobby on the pitch for 90 minutes made no sense at all, none, I cannot think of any other top level manager who would have made those tactical decisions whilst also removing our goal threat.

Did you read my post, he has a Greek international Left back sat on the bench game after game after game, why the f**k does he not at least try him, can he really be any worse than Robertson is currently??

Klopp has a couple of big flaws which prevents him from being a great manager, one of them is tactical inflexibility the other is having favourites. All truly great managers are ruthless, if a player's form dips then they are out until they prove themselves worthy again, if they don't then they are sold.  For example Bobby should have been sold a few seasons ago, he certainly should not be the first name on the team sheet if he's fit, same with Gini.

In the game yesterday it was clear that Milner and Gini were crap second half, why not bring on Keita and/or Shaq, inject some energy back into the midfield, taking off Mane and Jota was just stupid, plain and simple stupid OR it was deliberate, but its one of those two options.

Absolute nonsense that he threw the game, no way that a man like Jürgen would do that, he is too invested in his job and his players

The rest of it? I can’t ever really understand these armchair managers, and by that I mean those who think they know better rather than simply have an opinion, and you come across like you think you know better rather than offering an opinion

You know Jürgen took a sports science degree right? And that he is on record of saying that he works on data and the science given to him when it comes to substitutions, so whether you agree with it or not that’s his way and it’s worked for him throughout his career

Took off his goal threat? Didn’t he bring on his biggest goal threat and top scorer?

Rarely see Klopp make a tactical change/substitution that turns a game in our favour. It really is puzzling to watch him at times.

Our title winning squad has just plummeted to a bunch of mid table players. Last night they struggled to pass the ball, had no clue what to do with it, hardly threatened the goal, and mostly did nothing all game.

How has Klopp not solved the problems which have been glaringly obvious for months? It's doubtful that they do anything worthwhile at all in training. If Klopp walks at the end of this season, it won't be because of the Super League, it will be because of his own failures this season. He looks devoid of ideas and it's worrying.

We had a massive opportunity to grab 4th place - but it looks screwed up again.

Desperately hoping we get fortunate and finish the season with Champions League place for next season, and an opportunity for a proper "reset" for the new season.

I mean that’s just trying to make something fit a bit of confirmation bias you have in your own head

Gini off the bench in the Barca game?
Divock off the bench in the CL final
Shaq off the bench to score twice against united
Bobby and Phil off the bench to score a d turn the game around against Stoke away
I mean how many times has Jota come off the bench this season to get goals?
Sturridge  off the bench hits the post for Mane to follow up to score the winner in the derby
Divock with the 90+6 winner in the derby

That’s just off the top of my head, there will be loads more

It’s like the other fella saying Bobby is his favourite and never gets taken off when if you actually look at the stats the player most substituted under Klopp? That’s right Bobby

I didn't say "never". Those examples are pretty rare, and some of those were pretty obvious to any Manager.

Feel even more disillusioned after seemingly throwing away the chance of gaining all three points against Leeds. I will be glad when this hugely disappointing season is finally over !
