Apparently we are going to play a football match Saturday.

Hopefully the team will be focused on it more than most of us probably have been.

Having canceled my streaming subscriptions, I believe this is the first match I have not been able to watch live since 2015. I may have forgotten one, but I think I've been in front of my TV or laptop for every competitive game since then. I think Five Live streaming is free to access this season so, if that is correct, radio it is.

Will Fabinho be back in midfield for this one?

Needs a rethink in Midfield Milner and hopefully Gini to take a rest . Hopefully Fab back with Thiago and would like to see Naby given a go

I would make a few changes just to freshen things up.  Wijnaldum has been poor for the past month or so . . . I would leave him out.  He has made a lot of stray passes recently which isn't like him.  I would like to see Naby in the middle again, perhaps with Milner and Thiago.  Seen as Phillips will still probably be out, Fabinho will be at centre half.

Hard to call this. Newcastle have little to play for so should be relaxed.
We still look disjointed. In parts against Leeds we looked decent. In other parts we looked shambolic.

Either way, we need to win. We have little room for error now if we are to grab 4th.

      NB: Team no longer available

If Philips is not available I would play Williams rather Fabinho as CB.

We need to keep our chances alive by winning.

I like that team... except maybe I’ll give that Ben Davies a chance with kabak. Unless he is injured?

I would like to see 4-2-3-1 for this one and take the game to Newcastle, who will defend well and will be tough to break down.

               Alisson
      Trent - Nat - Kabak - Robbo
           Fabinho - Thiago
      Salah - Firmino - Mane

Not sure how to use the team builder so will type out team below.  I would like to see us try out a 4-4-2 with a diamond in the middle of the park.

                                             Alisson

        Trent              Fabs                      Davies             Robbo

                                                   Ox

                                   Salah                Jota

                                  Salah

No Phillips & Fabinho back in as cb kind of forces our hand, we are not a defensive side so best form of defence is attack,  so starting from our front 4 we defend from there, Toon can be dangerous so if they feel up for it lets play attack V attack and see who scores the most,

I wish, but it's not happening. Phillips is out so Fab will be in the back line. Jürgen has been watching Davies in training for nearly three months and his opinion is that he's not the better option in the starting XI. Hopefully the midfield will step up along with the outside backs and the front three to earn an important win.

I would play the Ox. Surprised he hasn’t had more of a look in given how sh*t we’ve been this season, injuries notwithstanding. Need a bit more drive and energy in the team when Hendo’s not there. Plus with Gini seemingly off, Keita dodgy as f*ck you kind of need to start thinking about the transition.

Keita has been injured a lot granted and was poor against Madrid ( On the right out of.natural position ,first start for a while) but that was one game . Cannot remember many other games when fit he has been poor so really when you get to down to it he has not been really dodgy as F**k as he

Just as we meet barcodes, they hit a stream of form. Plus our dreaded Anfield record this season.
I’m hoping we can get back to some sort of reality, then we’d certainly have too much for these.
Gone for a 3:1 win, and also expecting chavs and hammers to draw. That will get us amongst them and put the pressure on them a bit.
We just need to play our players where they are strongest. None of this playing out of position nonsense.
They have to play where they will have the biggest impact on the game,  Hope Jürgen gets it right today with set up, tactics and subs. Just don’t over think it boss, play the players to their strengths, and we will beat this lot !

Was gonna change my prediction from 3:1 to 3:0, but every time I’ve done that this season I’ve missed out on a perfect. 3 times that is.
No guessing whats gonna happen today then 😱

I’d rather play a Ox rather than the Ox, he’s been sh*te for a while and obviously not cutting the mustard at Kirby, if Naby doesn’t play I’d like young Leighton Clarkson to be given a go, he’d bring energy & drive and freshen things up, he has played in front of the back 4 before and played well, we could  put him in beside Milner or Gini to guide and advise him and have Thiago in front pulling the strings,

                            Jota.     Bobby.    Mane
                                         Salah

What we got, 6 to go, let’s go out on a high, Mancs up next, got draw written all over it, possibly a win if we turn up for 95 mins, but against Toon we shouldn’t really be too troubled, yes their playing decent but still, not enough to take points off us, so really we should be looking at 16/18 points to play for, and that should cement 4th, aside from the total sh*t storm of a season we’ve  had, and the latest complete F**k up from Hooray Henry and his wee avaricious chums, finishing in 4th would be a half decent return if we’re all honest,
Far from ideal of course but it just about keeps us ticking over into next season, a season without Euro football would not be flavoursome and effect possible incomings, there’s talk we have already acquired the services of Ibrahima Konate, but nothing confirmed, so maybe the rebuild has begun already?

      3-1 Champions still !

On the flip side though for us, it's a hell of a long weekend if we don't get the right result!

I have the same issue with the night time kick offs 5am here so up early and all day long to stew over bad result!

Don't think Williams can cut it - so unless Nat recovers, or Davies [does exist, right?] makes a Lazaras like changearound, would have to put Fab at CB
Then stick the front 3 out with Jota, and Milly/Thiago behind and try go for it

Can't remember the last time we weren't involved in any Trophy hunt at this stage of a season; anyhow back in Top 4 today

I won’t be able to watch this one today so we should win by about 5 or 6 goals.
