Why would you take off Thiago when he was running the game? Waited all season for that performance and he gets taken off?

Looked sh*t as soon as he went off!

Yeah that was a ridiculous decision. Even more so when you consider he left wijnaldum on all game....again!!

That’s why I can have no sympathy for the boss. sh*te decision and we’ve paid the price for it.

Don't take your chances that's what happens.

Take off your motm who was giving you just a little bit of control of the game and that's what happens.

      All our own F***ing fault.

F**k off reds. Really, how many bloody warnings do you need. Once again we should have been out of sight. Lacking in concentration too often. The most infuriating team I can remember. This season cannot end quick enough and tbh we don't bloody deserve 3rd or 4th.

I don’t know either why people think we’re gonna magically start winning game after game again next season just because it’s a new one.

If we have the same front three starting next season we’re gonna have the same f**king problems. It’s more than a blip and more than just a bad season at this stage.

Virg. Gomez. Crowds. This is a freak season. At least I damn hope so.

Maybe no CL is what this side needs.

Bit of a reset, move on players that aren't up to it or don't fancy getting us back on top and go again.

I just want to see lessons learnt. We had this against Leeds on Monday. We have Salah doing pirouettes to try and block a cross. This isn't the time to be ducking hard work. We are about to go below Everton again and players think they can miss 6 shots then sh*t out of work in the other half of the pitch.

Players like Firmino who has 3 players to pass to thinks its good to give it to the one in the worst position.  Mane who needs to go and see a sport psychiatrist because he has gone in the head. Can see him thinking oh sh*t what shall I do when it comes to him.

The past 6 weeks alone I can think of about 10 times he has chose the wrong option or pulled off a sh*t shot when in an easy position to score.

I dont think Jürgen can keep defending these lads. They have the ability to do so much better.

Looked sh*t as soon as he went off!

This for me. If you’re desperate to get players on, don’t take off your best performers. And Millie for Jota. Egh ?
Take off a goal threat for a midfield grafter with no goal threat. Yet Gini runs the course.
As soon as the subs started, we became more and more disjointed, and Newcastle got stronger with more belief.
Chances missed by us or not. Jürgen created our demise there for no apparent reason.
Overthinking it again has cost us s as gain !
He clearly ain’t learning. Don’t try and mend it if it isn’t broken FFS !

Absolutely f**king awful,  just get worse the longer games go on. Really worried that klopp has run his race here.

For me it looks more and more that Klopp is finished here. His system is inefficient: heavy input, meh output. I don't blame our strikers, we play so random in the box that our goals become random and that cries for a dry spell. We don't shoot from the box, we don't have one to convert crosses, we just play tiki-taka for months now and all our opponent has to do is stack the box. Klopp had enough time to find a new trick, but he seems to play his system no matter what.

I am really curious to see Klopp and LFC next season without the injury-excuse. Very good possible that we will be our old self, but my theory is we won't because our issues are deeper. Still that does not mean I'd fire Klopp, let him run out his contract and maybe he can figure something out, he has earned it.

Agree on this, he looks fried, the whole team after this season needs to put in oxygen chambers or something to revive themselves. Not a normal season anyway with Covid pandemic.

Whatever about the subs etc. we had enough shots, breaks, chances to win that game. Nothin new.
We're misfiring up front and without Mo who's chipping in, we'd be in the bargain bin. Bizarre.

thiago going off was absolutely bizarre. for the 40th time this season, we get worse when we make subs.

also, now the season is dead and wijnaldum is off in the summer, whats the point in playing him? surely weve got to work out if keita and Ox are actually any use to us....?

Bang on, was sitting here watching us miss chance after chance and F***ing around the opposition box and you could feel that equaliser for Newcastle coming. You didn't need a crystal ball to tell you the Geordies would get that one chance just like Monday.

And it's been like this most of the season if we're honest.

Kudos to Robbo who’s doing the post match interview. Basically saying that is how this season has gone, we don’t learn our lesson and keep making same mistakes that cost us points.

      I’m broken

I’ve followed this club for over 40 years and I feel broken, tired and fed up

Genuinely if I could switch off the button on me that loved football I would do it

Haha I've seen a lot worse than this.

Where do we go from here ???

Gonna be a long summer.  Hopefully we can fix our many issues and have another proper go next season.

I might phone it in for the rest of this season....   :-\

Hodgson, Souness and Bristol City, in fact most of the 90s were pretty much more F***ing embarrassing than being defending champions having a sh*t season!!

Ludicrous decision  to be replaced by Jones who then proceeded to run up several closed alleys

Thiago vs. Newcastle United [LFC rank at the time of his substitution]:

      100 attempted passes [1st]
      91 successful passes [1st]
      43 final third passes [1st]
      8 attempted tackles [1st]
      5 successful tackles [=1st]

      An impressive performance. 🇪🇸 https://t.co/VBDhAmqlZ9

I want to see him be ruthless this summer and ship out those he does not believe are giving their all.

A lot of players need a good rest in the summer - a proper rest then a proper pre season then start the season fresh with players back and fans watching - it’s not been great but the squad is still good enough , a couple of new faces and we go again
