We can't catch Chelsea if they win their final two games

Most we can get is 69

Most Chelsea can get is 70

most Leicester can get is 72

Both cant  get max as they play each other. So Ideally leicester beat chavs and we win our 3. Worst case is utd second goal tonight does not cost us on goal difference

Lei on 66 points (they have chelsea and spuds)

Chel on 64 (they have lei and villa)

We have a game in hand.

So if we win all our three games, and chelsea win over lei. we can still make top 4 with GD on 69 points.

Mainly because of the Chelsea vs Leicester game, one of them will either lose 3 points, or both lose 2 points.

Don't think that's right. If chavs win both games and Leicester win their last game it's down to goal difference if you lot win your last 3.

thats what im hoping for too, but worst case scenario is chelsea win. I was just pointing out that there is still hope nomatter the result between those two.

just win our games and we will finish at least 4th. we just showed UTD as an avg team nothing more so again lets get positive for 3 more games they played oh so well. Nope, even if Chelsea win both their remaining games and finish on 70 points, they’ve done it at the expense of Leicester losing 3 points, meaning we still get 4th as long as we win our three.

That requires Leicester putting 4 past Spurs. Otherwise we finish above them even with three 1-0 wins.

Very good example here and you’re absolutely right, GD will have to be better if Leicester city lose to chelsea (and we have won all 3 games).

that is possible but chances for that is low imo.

Lei is currently on 21 GD, they loose against chelsea with 1 goal then they go to 20.

we are on 20, if we winn all three as you say with 1 goal each game then we are on 23. That would take lei to score atleast three goal against spuds, without conceading.
