      Quote from Robby The Z
Yes, if they draw level on goal difference (such as 5-0 for them and 1-0 for us as you mention) than they pip us on goals scored, the 4th tiebreaker (we would be even on points and head to head results).

But that is not going to happen. Tonight's result should help us play with a much more relaxed mindset. We are showing a lot more quality -not back to title-winning level, but much better than during our dip.

Just need one more good performance to set the stage for a rebound next season.

We beat Leicester 4-3 on aggregate. Now it counts double.

Burnley has always been a horrible banana skin in the season, but momentum means a lot in football, and now we have it. We've won the last 3 games there by an aggregate of 9-1. The perfect response to the loss at home earlier in the depths of winter.

Now there's no more talk about tiredness, or lack of crowds. But there were complaints on LFCTV about why did we move out of Melwood in November, as apparantly the disruption was a reason behind the results this season. The plan was to move to Kirkby at the start of this season, then the virus got in the way. When we moved, we were top of the league at the time, and stayed there until Christmas. So moving to state of the art resources at Kirkby is not a reason whatsoever, for why we had to fight for 4th instead of 1st.

I always want to be at home on the last day of the season, especially when we need a result. Never mind the derbies, or the mancs, or even the first game, I always want to know who we have last, and is it at home or not. Well this year it is, and it should be a routine 3 points against a side with nothing to play for and it should be enough.

After the game, the lap of honour will be unique. No WAGS, no families, limited crowd. I would love to get the trophy out and show it off to the fans, because we couldn't do it last year. Failing that though, I would love to score lots of goals as in the away game, as a thank you to the fans who have had to take so much this year. There's no more games for 3 months, so we may as well win this one with a bit of style.

could anyone imagine this scenario 6 weeks ago. Go to Old Trafford and give them a footballing lesson go to W.Brom and see the Ali miracle and then on to Turf Moor and a master class in patience and discipline 3 games 9 points 9 goals scored 3 conceded that is top form by any standard and the lads deserve all the credit in the world

That's pretty much irrelevant unless we win 5-4 and Leicester win 5-0 so we can forget head to head.
