26 points form our last 10 games 8th place 10 games ago

What a team we have here. It wasn't gifted.  We won 8 and draw 2 in the last 10. And lets be honest, we EARNED this, after all the sh*t we had to deal with this year. Champion teams find a way when the chips are down.
MENTALITY MONSTERS are back, so looking forward to next year already.

      Thank You  GINI !!!!!

And how legendary is that Allison goal now?

We only finished 5 points behind the Mancs.

Blueshite 10th ( I thought this was their year hahahaahhaaaaaa )

Rodgers bottled it again. That's 2 in a row. ( Spurs will sign him ;D)

Only thing is MO didnt get the boot, but what Red could not be more prouder of our team down the stretch with hope seemingly all lost.

      Carry on to next season ... Can't wait    20 + 7

Ali has been superb this season and his goal for me makes him player of the season and like JĆ¼rgen had to overcome adversity
      Goal of the season that.

After drawing to Leeds and Newcastle, thought that was it.
Massive credit to JĆ¼rgen and the lads for getting into the CL / finishing 3rd - for getting something from a season where so many things went wrong.
Can't be arsed going over it all, am just glad its over, and we have CL to look forward to next year.
Hit the reset button, then go again in August.
Gave Thiago MOTM today, could've given it to him last time but for Ali, the lad's had a strong finish to the season.
Well done today, 3 points, job done :)

City bought nothing this year, we let them off the hook, again add up the points dropped to the poor teams, we gave them it

      Roll on next year

A season where Solskjaer, Dean Smith and "The Chosen One" were all having good years shows that there was something not right with this year. On top of the horrific injuries we had, we were never going to win this title so I don't see us having handed them anything. We were just paralysed by circumstances.

Next season, things will return to normal.

This team needs an evolution, not a revolution like all the clowns who jumped off the bandwagon in Feb/Mar were saying.

We saw the past 10 games the quality of this team and all we need is some minor incremental improvements and weā€™re back as league and European contenders.

We had a terrible year, while Utd under Ole had a pretty good one apparently - and we finished just 5 point off them.

Only caught the tail end the game as was at worky bits, but looked like was in full control. Considering how this season has panned out, 3rd place finish is damn good so well done to JK and the rest of the lads. Just hope that now we are in the CL for next season, the club do all they can to make sure JĆ¼rgen gets the players he wants. Make no mistake, getting CL footy for next season is a minor miracle..

A month ago we were 8th. Fantastic recovery.

3rd, not too shabby all considered.

I was nervous in the first half when the ball just wouldn't go in,  but bar that one effort in the first half that went just wide they didn't trouble us.
Happy with our recent performances, pity we had that strange home games wobble that nearly ruined our season, but given our injuries, it's great that we got over the line.  Bring on next season.

Mentality monsters!  The lads have really delivered the goods these past few months.

Great to see TAA back to his best, Thiago looks better and better each game now Fab's joined him in midfield and, while the the CBs might not be the best in the league, they've risen to the challenge and got us clean sheets.

Shame MO didn't get the golden boot, and feel a bit sorry for Leicester who threw it away at the end.

Hoping JĆ¼rgen and the players enjoy their summer, see their families and, for those in the Euros or Copa America, good luck and come back safe.

Donā€™t forget that Pep has probably spent a billion quid to build his ā€œmachineā€. Iā€™d love to see if he could do it like JĆ¼rgen has, he probably could, but heā€™s never going to be a manager to do things the hard way...

Well done boys. You stuck with it and never gave up and have reaped your just rewards in a shitstorm of a season. Only five points behind the manc sh*t who were supposedly having this great year. And of course yet again miles ahead of the bitters when it was (once again) their time.  :kop5cf8koxp6:

      That'll do...

From the BBC, quoting JĆ¼rgen's interview:

Lowest moment of season? "I don't want to pick one - it will be unfair to all the other [rubbish] (he didn't actually say rubbish but we can't publish it) moments.

Best manager in the league and the best interviews. If LFC can get 3rd missing Virgil, Joe, Joel, with other injuries and a couple of the lads not quite at their best (i.e dipping to very good/excellent from 'frighteningly good' last season), City are going to have to spend an awful lot to buy the league next year.  Bear in mind that one vital, season-long absentee is going to be back for 2021-22: the Anfield crowd...

I am so over the moon, we finished 3rd after a mostly disappointing season. Everton would have a bus parade and bring out at least 3 videos for that! I hope all the lads and JĆ¼rgen get a real break, those whose families are away get to go home and spend quality time with their families. This has been an incredibly tough year for all of us, but being apart from family has been the hardest part of all. Hope JĆ¼rgen and Ali especially get to spend time with their families. Just so proud of the boys!

Well done everybody. We endured a pretty good season given the circumstances. The best moment of the entire season for me was Ali scoring the winner. These are things that rarely happen. What a boss moment.

Indeed. His has been a career of managerial privilege. Always had the privilege of managing clubs that could in effect field two different teams in the Champions League.

He makes Mourinho look like a non league grifter.
