Seemingly wilson, woodburn, shaq, origi & gruic are the ones who will probably bring in the most money. but we shall see, transfer window is gonna be quite different this summer, not many clubs are cash rich just now.

That’s the problem, none are really and the ones who are aren’t interested in those players  certainly won’t have the cash

Cut price or loans if we desperately want them out

      Could be.

if we get close to 50mill for them all, Its probably been good business.

      I’d be gobsmacked

Origis value would have come down naturally from where it was post his goal in Madrid

Shaqs value wouldn’t really be high anyway with the impact he’s had here

Add in the pandemic and what that’s done for finances at clubs
Wages for the pair are 60k and 80k

So then think where you can sell

France, the market has dropped out
Italy don’t really spend big on transfers anymore beyond one or two clubs who will have been hit financially and those clubs unlikely to be in for either
Spain’s financially hit even the big clubs are dealing in free transfers
Even China, who they wouldn’t at at this point of their career is financially crippped

So England? That would probably be the best market but would the clubs interested pay 20m each and take on those wages? Possibly but like everyone will be looking for a bargain

Woodburn you’d be lucky to get anything for currently
Wilson, good player but the thought of a championship club or lower PL club spending over 10m is fantasy in the current market

With Konate coming in, and Matip seemingly staying put (I doubt anyone would be willing to buy him given his injury record) I'm going to assume we are going to cash in on Nat while his value is at its peak.  He will want more regular playing time and we will need money to help fund other transfers.  Moving on, I think Naby's time is up, and I think Minamino can take Shaq's place in the lineup.  I would say it's time for Origi to be replaced as well, but I don't see us having the funds this summer to sign an adequate replacement.  So....

      Out
      Nat - 10M
      Davies - 5M ???
      Keita - 10M
      Shaq - 10M
      Elliot - Loan
      Gini - Free
      Total - 35M

      In
      Konate - 35M
      Grealish - 60M
      Minamino - Return

It's basically Konate for Nat, Grealish for Gini, and Minamino returning to take the minutes that Keita and Shaq were getting.

We will never get Grealish, since City are in for him and they will offer 100M.

Valued at by the sellers though

Value it relative and set by who is willing to pay what

£15m plus £4m a year in wages is a big take on currently for the level of clubs who’d be in for them

Some people only see goals scored as a yardstick. Bobby hasn't had a great season, but he's a very useful player.

He's been way below his best this season and for me was playing when he shouldn't at times

Having said that he's one of my favourite players and on form is a vital part in how we play.

His goal record doesn't overly concern me, sits around about 1 in 3, as that's not his main job in the side even though he plays in the 'goal scorer position'.

I'd still look to bring a different style forward in though, more of an out and out scorer, simply to freshen up the front line and also give us a different style for different games.

This is true, but they are still very good players. its shall be interesting to see how it goes. I hope for the players and the clubs they get good deals.

I think Klopp probably knows what we need?

If the attitude is "I think Klopp probably knows what we need" then what's the point of this thread?

I thought this thread was about our opinions on what we need?

Pearce article covers all the bases. Shaq and Origi most likely off, but Ox and Naby will stay, as will Tsimikas and Neco Williams. Kabak has gone back to Germany, but Phillips, Rhys and apparently even Ben Davies will enter preseason with us.

One aspect of this we don't like to think about is we don't know what to expect from Virgil, Joe and Joel for the beginning of the season. Will they be fit? What will they be like? You can't assume when you are ma aging the club..

you would think given his time here "fans" would give him the benefit of the doubt but that appears to not be the case.
Its also difficult to get players of similar quality to what we have now and expect them to spend time on the bench as our best 11 is still as good as any other in Europe. It may well be down to FSG and how they see the future and is the like of Mbappe on their list or is that just at a level they dont want to compete in and rely on Jürgen's abilities to Create Mbappe's rather than buy them

Nah even with Nike's backing we'd be well off meeting his fee and wages.

Sancho a bit more realistic? Although United will probably blow us out of the water wage wise (that's if we're even interested that is)

It's simply fantasy stuff for me.

Would love it to be true as he is a special talent but we are more likely to buy the next Mbappe.

Joe & VVD will no doubt take time to get back upto peak, so the other lads will be called upon quite a lot I expect.

I did spot it earlier but couldn't wrap my head around simply how good Shaqiri must be in the sack - or how you'd know - that he can charge £15m

Maybe his cock is as thick as his calves
