Have we the players here or what? We have class here already. so maybe we should trust JK to put them together, and work them as he knows how.
Trust, he has worked his formula before

Yes. This is the group. We will contend for honors in the league and in Europe, barring a repeat of last season's injury crush. Take away January and February and our record over the past three seasons combined is just phenomenal.

Questions about.Virgil and Joe, but we can and will continue to be a top team.

The only questions against Virgil & Joe are when they will be fully match fit, shouldn’t take too long, for me Matip & Konate starting the season off is a given up until Virgil is ready, he is a absolute shoe in starter from that point onwards with the other three vying to play alongside him, i favour Konate, but any of the three will be fine, what a contrast from last season huh !!

My only hesitation Billy is that knee injuries are difficult. I'm hoping for the best but we don't know what he will be like yet.

I'm more afraid for January because of African Nations.

We would be without Salah, Mane and Keita.

I also thought that we would not be seeing Shaqiri playing yesterday.

This is when we'll have a front three ofJota, Minamino and Bobby. Apparently we're all good up top as we are 🤷🏽‍♂️

I'm pretty sure most in here have said they'd like another forward.

The window is still open for almost a month.

The Afcon is only two games missed is it not?

Yea, I don't think it's anymore than 2 games. Finger crossed no injuries.

If worst comes to worst, Bobby, Jota and Elliott could deputize as our front three.

Just looked it up. AFCON is Jan 9 to Feb 6 so they’d miss our games against Brentford and Palace. We play Leicester on the Feb 9 so Klopp might rest those who make it to the final on Feb 6. Not sure if CL games would be played during this time period and any Cup games they’d be rested anyway.

How is it disrespectful to point out that front three isn't strong enough? If one of them are having a bad game we'll have Origi to bring on.

We don't need "a job" done after xmas. That's business time when it comes to league title campaigns. We need to be firing on all fronts. That front three, with Origi on for good measure, won't be firing on no front, minus Jota.

So still a better front 3 than 75% of the league.

      Not bad.

Our aim is meant to be better than 100% of the league and to be equipped to achieve that

I would prefer AOC instead of Minamino. But he is a good option too.

I think Mo Mane and Bobby/Jota is better than 100% of the league. No team has a great backup forward line apart from City so we'll have to live without Mo and Mane for a few weeks.

I think Elliot will do well as a backup this season too.

I do agree we need to add up top to replace Origi with a decent player. Someone like Watkins at Villa would be a good backup.

Sorry there is also the potential for a league cup tie but depends on how we do in earlier rounds - and the two league games are Palace and Brentford

It's always a big fuss with certain people. It's not like they're missing the games against City and United. It's against Brentford and Palace, FFS.
