I wonder if he got a call from Ali because he started to come and then stopped......unusual otherwise why he'd protect the ball like that, he knew it wasn't going out of play and I think if Ali were decisive, he could've grabbed it quite comfortably.

Nah if he of got a call, Ali would of come for it, just Konate being dopey, when it should have been dealt with. Can't tell it was his fault the way his game went to sh*t for a 5 min spell afterwards. Recovered, made a good block to spate Trent's indecision and we still come away with three points.

Hmm. I don’t think Ali helped him then because he must’ve seen Ali coming for the ball and Ali can see everything that’s happening, Ibou is just focused on the ball…needed a shout either way. Not the first time we’ve had communication problems between keeper and CBs.

That's why Ali was talking to him directly after the goal, along the lines of don't get a call, just deal with it. Either corner or throw in but that ball should have been leathered into the crowd.
