Was taken off due to tactics or.poor performance which ever way you dress it up and was on the bench as a result of that last night . No injury at all

His contract got 1 year left if I remember right. Was offered an extension in Jan but not signed yet?

Now that Virg has signed, the club is in a strong position to say to Ibou to sign that extension himself and, if he doesnt, sell him early in the summer and bring in a replacement.

According to rumours he's wanting at least double the wages.

When Mo and Virg getting 400k a week, then Ibou has every right to ask for 200k a week or whatever it is, plus he’ll know the likes of Romero Saliba Maguire Fofana Akanji Dias De Ligt etc are all on 160-200k. I think we tie him up new deal running until 2030 180k a week.

You don't have a problem paying Virgil and Mo top dollar because they are basically indestructible. Konate misses a lot of games...he needs to account for that in his demands. We need someone that is available.

We had no problem giving Jota 180k a week, or giving Thiago 200k a week.....Ibou has been far more important to this side than those 2 have ever been....and pretty soon he'll be on his way to being a Premier League winner.

Good for them. Ibou misses too many games and makes too many blunders for me to believe he should get a top tier contract. That's my opinion...nothing's going to change my mind

It's for the club to weigh up, ultimately there's 2 options....renew Ibou or take the risk and sign someone else who can be as good, if not better.....and it's a big risk.

But the reality is you have a CB partnership that's the best (perhaps 2nd best if you take defensive record into account) in the league which is also capable of winning you a title. Featured in 26/32 Prem games this season as well which can't be sniffed at.

I'm not sure why you keep arguing the point. I'm fine with Ibou being here, but if he's going to be a bi*ch about his contract, then I'm ok with him going for the reasons I stated.
