His fitness will be key the 2nd half of the season. He's clearly VVd best partner, and that's saying something, as every CB has played very well this season

Watching some bits of the game again, and the way he covers for Trent is brilliant time and time again. He's perfectly suited for doing this, particularly when TAA starts to venture into midfield - he's quick and aggressive enough to make up for the space left behind.

I thought that was his best performance for us by a country mile , stepped up to the plate in Virgil’s absence, covered back for Trent , when needed an excellent performance by the man .

Konate at his best is one of the best centre backs in the world - we saw that yesterday.

Just needs to work on his consistency a bit as he’s still prone to a few errors.

Hope he irons that out because he has all the attributes to be one of the very best.

He's so damn good....BUT he's not touching Virgil just yet, learning from the best though so only time will tell.

At one point in the first half it felt like Konate V Arsenal. He literally battered Martinelli and Jesus into submission. His geeing up the defence towards the end of the of the FA Cup at the Emirates was marvellous too.
