Most months have the inclusion of a huge game.
Gonna be a long hard season, not many opportunities to relax the pressure.

Looking do irward to it though 👌

The good news is that Mane and Salah will only miss two PL games because of AFCON. I thought it was going to be at least six with the tournament going on for the whole of Jan and Feb, but it's over Feb 9th.

When the fixture list comes out I look for three things, the first six games, the last six games and the Christmas period. First six quite tough with Chelsea and Leeds, last six decent but no push over, Crimbo is difficult.

Don't worry lads & ladettes it'll be all over by Xmas, We Got This, you name me a group of players hungrier than ours ?
If we can be relatively injury free I honestly cannot see anyone stopping us lifting No 20, its a three horse race for me ourselves obviously City & Chavs,  if we can take 8 points minimum off these two fixtures I really don't think we will have too many worries from anyone else.

      We're gonna kill it !!

You know when dates for rounds of the cup are always given as "Week Commencing/Ending", well why don't they do it for this when the fixture list is released? All the weekend games might be posted as 15:00, but the vast majority of them will be changed. We had one game at 3pm on a Saturday last season.

Overall, it's a good list. Early chances to right the wrongs against Burnley and Chelsea at home, with the fans back and the squad hopefully at full strength. Hopefully that will still be the case when we play City at home just 7 games in. Otherwise, we might have to settle for a point and let the game fizzle out, as has happened in the fixture at that stage of the season, in the past.

The derby away from home is on a midweek, and the Christmas period looks tough with Spurs, Leicester and Chelsea all away from home. Despite that, it's now 30 years since we last had a game in London on 26 December. Then Mo and Mane head off to the Afcon leaving Brentford and Palace behind them.

The last 10 games have tasty ties at home to the mancs, Spurs, and the derby, and for the fourth time in 5 seasons, we're at home on the last day. It was great to have it at home last season, and maybe this time we can lift No. 20 at the end of the Wolves game.

That's assuming life is back to normal by then.

Mate, he/she is already a Red fan, its up to you to do the educational part, congratulations mate on your impending fatherhood, you do know that it's all down hill from here on in, you will be constantly skint, totally, countless sleepless nights,  unbelievable Shitty nappies with aroma's you simply cannot understand,  your wee baby will cough, splutter, scream, fart, sh*t, sneeze and cry, all at the same time,  in short, they kind of explode, they should come with a Government health warning to be honest,

Good luck mate,   they are worth it in the end 😂😂😂😂😂😂

We have a new Red fan. Zak was born yesterday. Come on Reds. Please I was born in 91 and had to wait 30years to see them win a league, do not follow the same trend.
