Imagine scoring a hattrick and your team still gets battered... Must be a bit frustrating. Does he still get (and want) the match ball?

I remember RBL when we were first going in for Keita talking a big game about not selling their best players and wanting to challenge Bayern. Didn’t last all that long as they lost Upamecano, Konate and Nagelsmann this offseason and appear to be just another feeder club to Bayern.

Konate and Upamecano both had release clauses didn’t they? Am I right in saying so did Sabitzer and Werner?

That hattrick from Christopher Nkunku against City was superb! Stand out player from that match.

Shame it counts for nothing with City scoring 6.

Every club in the germany is a feeder club for Bayern

Believe you’re right. Even Keita I believe had a release clause.

      Quote from Isaac!
(Bern) celebrations at the end are a bit embarrassing, it's only Man U. It's not the non geriatric Ronaldo Madrid. They are playing a reputation.

Bern beat what was in front of them. It's never  embarrassing to celebrate a win against the mancs.

Something that is more embarrassing is the Seville player diving to try and win a penalty in their game against Salzburg. With 4 penalties given before half time, he tried his luck. Not the wisest thing to do with VAR around, and even less so when already on a yellow. The dive itself was embarrassing and all he got for it was a second yellow and therefore a red. So he won't be doing that when they go to Wolfsburg.

But that's not a patch on the embarrassment scale, compared to the Dynamo Kiev player collecting his second yellow card and the red to go with it at their game v Benfica. Except he wasn't even on a yellow at the time, so the red was withdrawn, and he was allowed to continue with just the one yellow card, so he will be able to face Bayern Munich. And the bonus for him is, Anthony Taylor will be nowhere to be seen.

So you see there are far more embarrassing things in the game than celebrating a win against the mancs.

Unbelievable. One of the most remarkable scores I've seen in the Champions League. Incredible from Sheriff Tiraspol!

Results such as the ones we saw yesterday are exactly why I'm very much against that stupid CL reform. They should giver 'smaller' clubs a fair chance.

On a side note, Dirk must be eating his words right now...

Villareal all over the Mancs but not scoring, which means Utd will steal a 1-0.

Said it at the start of the season, it's where you'll get found out. You needed another top defensive midfielder to go with Mctominay.
