I trust Jürgen and the boys to come up with a solution to any problem RM bring.
I cant help but compare Luis Diaz £40 mil Jack Grealish £100mil it just makes me chuckle and is a demonstration of the perverse idea of player value when money is no object.

When it’s oil baron money it’s peanuts to them as you know. Grealish doesn’t appear to suit the way City play and 100million now looks embarrassing. If he does leave City in the summer they won’t be getting anywhere near that amount.

Diaz is looking the better player and the way he’s settled in is remarkable. Arguably still better to come.

Who would take him though? Always thought he was overhyped because he’s English.

Funnily enough, I believe he could be very good at Arsenal.
They just don't really need him as they have Smith Rowe.

Very good question and based on performances and not much game time probably hard to say. You wouldn’t want to be giving more than 50 million if it’s based on performance  ;D

Not much being said in the media and match highlights about the absolute cringefest nonsense of Real wearing "14" shirts and celebrating like they have won the Trophy. Ridiculous scenes at the end.

Imagine the reaction if we pulled out shirts with 7 on it after beating Villareal.

I seem to remember a certain Italian team touching the trophy at half time thinking it was theirs.

Sick of hearing fans of other clubs saying we’ve had a easy run to get to the final… do they not remember our supposedly group of death? That group which was in fact a group of death, and we were the F***ing grim reaper?

Shows how boss we are, burning everyone's heads out with the mental gymnastics they have to come up to downplay the season we've had. F**k em all.

I’ve said same thing but only after group stages.  ;D Also said you can only beat what’s in front of you which you have to good effect. Take it with a pinch of salt, at the end of the day other fans ( including me ) are envy of the position your in.

Just read this about some of our key players missing the 2005 bus parade - pretty disgusted by the club this happened. They definitely deserve some recognition and a place on our bus parade:

We were run appallingly by Moores and Parry. Through sheer incompetence.

Not really, they ended up delayed by the sane delays that meant some fans missed out on the parade too. Problem was they couldn't delay the parade. sh*t happens, especially when your squad players who weren't even part of the match day squad.

I would give Moores a pass he let Parry ruin sorry run the club and he was a prize one. Hopefully Paris should allow fans to get back in time

      Quote from therealjr
Anyone else seen the latest genius idea UEFA have come up with?
Scrap the CL two leg semis and have a ‘festival of football’ where two semi finals are played 5 days before in the same city hosting the final
So they are expecting 4 sets of fans to trek off to whatever far flung outpost they give the finals to not knowing when they might need return travel arrangements or how long they need accommodations for.
But as they say it’s a great opportunity for sponsors and broadcasters!!!!

It worked well when there was no fans or ticket arrangements to worry about. But can you imagine the scenario where the 4 teams involved being Liverpool, mancs, Roma and Juventus. Trying to make a stadium safe in the event we get the short straw and have to face Juventus with no segregation and neutral zones, because that's still how UEFA distribute their tickets, is the stuff of nightmares.

I see the commercial appeal of it, but this hasn't been thought through properly. It's almost as if nobody at the ticketing department at UEFA has developed a brain since 1985.
