Europa Conference League 2021-2022

The 2021–22 UEFA Europa Conference League will be the first season of the UEFA Europa Conference League, Europe's tertiary club football tournament organised by UEFA.

The final will be played at the Arena Kombëtare in Tirana, Albania. The winners of the 2021–22 UEFA Europa Conference League will automatically qualify for the 2022–23 UEFA Europa League group stage, unless they manage to qualify for the 2022–23 UEFA Champions League group stage.

This season will be the first since 1998–99 (the last season that the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup was played) where three major European club competitions (UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League) organised by UEFA take place.

No confirmed teams, but Spurs are in the 3rd Qualifying round around 5 & 12 August, format looks very confusing.

Totally agree, don’t like the Europa league let along the new conference league now for reasons that we all agree on ( to many games )
Always said unless we reach Qfinal stages doesn’t bother me if we go out early as it definitely effects the Premier league.

Mourinho would have been the first to mock and ridicule the competition in which he will now appear at the showpiece event. It seems fitting that he finds himself in the third tier of European club football.

Had to laugh at his comments about writing history with this win. It's not even the Europa League. It's the LDV Vans cup of Europe with the final hosted in that bastion of European football, Albania. José lost his touch many moons ago.

I agree it was bizarre to sack him the week before a final but I highly doubt they would've beaten City anyway!

Whatever our thoughts on Maureen as we like to call him wherever he goes he wins trophies its hard to believe he won the CL 18 years ago with Porto I wouldnt have put it past him to have beaten City but we will never know.He also is a master at getting paid up early and getting another job earning a fortune in the process. I expect Ali will be happy to see his old club doing well.
If Uefa wanted another Comp why not go back to the Cup Winners Cup?
