To be fair, not bad coming back from 0-2 at half time.

Bad drop off from Palace though. Think the realisation sunk in with the Bolton scoreline.

      Big test now for Lampard.

Pathetic Palace. Everton have done what Man City could not do this season, and beat them.

Oh well, the upside is I'm looking forward to our fans to continue singing "Merry Christmas Everton"

If the parade bus is like the team itā€™ll travel really slowly and stop every now and then whilst calling the RAC for a flat tyre when there is nothing wrong with it.

Not a lot of quality in this game however Villa look relatively solid which is a good sign for Sunday

I went away when every score was perfect. And came back to this... That's disappointing to say the least. :f_wah:
The good news is it means Lampard might keep his job. So the happy moments (for us) will continue next year.

And De Bruyne player of the yearā€¦

I mean if weā€™re giving it to a player who has performed far better in one half of the season, then should it not have went to the player sitting top of the goals & assists chart? Or is it just because De Bruyneā€™s better half was fresh in the memory.

Recency bias definitely played its part. But to be honest, KDB winning isn't a scandal. He's single handedly carried City to a potential title. And from his position, he's never going to produce the numbers Mo does.
Mo is part of a unit, so votes for Liverpool will always be split between our players.

Foden on the other hand... No comment.   :(

Neither DeBruyne nor Foden should have won. But so be it. Most awards arenā€™t really based on any real standards so what are you going to do.

By the way, why are those awards decided before the end of the season? Surely, what happens on Sunday could have an impact?
City players got more votes because they're currently leading, but what if they are not champions in the end? That should matter, no?

      Quote from redindian
Surely, the Aguerooooo goal needs to even out. Cisse celebrated on that day while let us have Stevie celebrating on the final day this time.

I think we all celebrated that goal because it stopped the mancs from winning another title, so there's nothing to even out. It doesn't matter who scored it tbh.

We know exactly what we have to do. The situation has reverted to how it was before the Spurs game, and of course we've been written off again. Merson says we have no chance because City have a home game to win the league, no other reason. I wonder did he think that in 1989, the last time a team started the last day on top and didn't get over the line? It's about time that fact was put in a dustbin.

Villa taking the piss with Robin Ollsen in goal. Martinez requested to be rested for an international in 10 days time.

Think De Bruyne was a fair shout, he led City to the title, without him, they'd have not won it.

Foden though, that was a joke

there are times when Rose tinted glasses are applicable and reasonable like when you have just been pipped to the title by a Club that wreaks of dirty money

You know what wreaksā€¦..having a Manc tw*t go on and on about ā€œRose tintsā€ on a Liverpool forum. As if any supporter of the Redmen gives two shits what a Manc thinks.
