I was just of the opinion back in October that it was a cert before the takeover that they would buy themselves out of trouble. Very rare I bet big unless it’s greyhounds but had it in my head it was a great bet to stay up. Fortunately for me it all worked out.

No VAR officials from the Premier League will be going to the World Cup. Other than the resident VAR apologist, no one is surprised by this given what a sh*t show VAR is in the league.

A lot of countries say the same thing though.
It can’t be easy when you have teams like Everton rolling about after every contact and demanding yellow/red cards.

Not sure what you are referring to but that tackle on Gordon was nasty and should have been a red.

Pretty much 99% of every tackle since Lampard took over.

The relegation battle is getting tasty.

Seems getting rid of Dyche and his prehistoric views on football was a great decision for Burnley. Who would have thought...?

Not sure I fancy villa being capable of ‘parking the bus’ at the Etihad.

      Relegation looks tasty though.
If, and it’s a big if, Leeds beat Brentford, then Everton must best arsenal or they are down...as things stand

1-1 at Villa Park and Palace winning is still a good scenario.

As it stands it would take a final day Everton defeat and wins for both Burnley and Leeds to see Everton down.

As it stands now Everton are safe.
And it’s final day make or break for Burnley or Leeds.

Personally I’d like to see Burnley go down. They have offered the league nothing in all the time they have been here.
      I enjoy not liking Leeds.

To be fair, not bad coming back from 0-2 at half time.
