Pretty well known Real is his dream move. Even if he were to come here I would expect him to move to Madrid at some point in the future.

To be fair, Thiago was an unusual signing for us. One we would have never done, had he not been in the last year of his contract...

Well I don't mean to piss on anyones parade, especially being new to the forum, but FSG aren't going to sanction Mbappe.

We signed Konate and straight away Pearce said that's our business done until we sell. Pearce is not an official, by any means, but history tells us he's correct.

We spend approx £30m net a year which we've spent. We'll now have to rely on sales to generate any cash for additional signings. We'd have to sell two of our stars to have the funds for Mbappe. He's currently on €360k per week. We're not matching that let alone giving him an increase and signing bonus. His next move is meant to earn him an increase. His agent wouldn't be worth his weight in salt if he brokers a deal for Mbappe to take a pay cut.

Anyone who's even entertaining the thought of us signing this lad is seriously mistaken.

It has its own thread because it is happening... as I have assumed. Wages and such will miraculously sort out by itself. Life is such a fantasy and it rightly should.

I have always thought there is likely to be nothing in this one except a lot of hope from reds everywhere that if we beat the drum loud enough and extol the virtues of playing in the PL under Jürgen that we might somehow create enough of an expectation to be in with a chance of signing him. The main obstacle is coming up with a plausible financial rationale. Imagine how many shirts he would sell? Fingers crossed lads!

Is he really in the books for you lot!! to make a bid or is it fan talk? I honestly don't know. I've read some funny/enjoyable post from  rossyred dreaming this transfer with couple of others. Ones things for sure though, he may of had a awful Euro's but as the saying goes, " form is temporary"  class is permanent.

Yeah he does have a way of turning them round doesn't he. Like I said though form is temporary, class is permanent. It's a good thing in a way though as it might knock 10 million off his valuation if he is sold which unlikely isn't it?
