Away day tickets

I (like many others) can't get up to anfield as often as I'd like. Long way for me and I play football on a Saturday so miss half the games just for that!

However, I am going to be in london for the Brentford (25th Sept) game for the Mrs birthday and SHE SUGGESTED why don't we get tickets?
Could someone shed some light on the best way to get tickets for away days?

Not that clued up on it mate but I'd say your best bet would be to get a ticket in the home end.

Similar request; I’m desperately trying to get hold of two tickets to the match at Brentford. If anyone knows of any could you give us a shout please. Lifelong reds fan who rarely gets a chance to go to Anfield these days.

More or less a closed shop for aways in terms of buying through the club mate. They're sold on past loyalty and the criteria you need to meet is extremely high. Unless you're a registered member / season ticket holder who attended around 10 or so aways during the previous season you probably won't have a sniff

As others have said, the home end is probably your best bet. Although with Brentford being newly promoted and a game against Liverpool being quite a spectacle in their eyes, the match may not go on general sale due to high demand and Brentford themselves may require that you to have certain criteria / history in order to buy.

Only other option would be the massively marked-up, touted tickets which will no doubt be knocking about online, but I wouldn't reccomend going down that route

I'll be honest you have to pick them up either when the requirements lower, i.e tickets not selling out, larger ticket allocations, late returns. That's how a lot of fans try to build up the required numbers needed.

I know this will be a complete long shot but here I am anyway. I am trying to get a hold of 2 x Away tickets for Newcastle vs Liverpool on 18th Feb, if anyone knows anyone that cant travel and/ or is selling them? I would hugely appreciated it. It would make the best surprise for the boyfriend!
