We have been pressing well. Their midfield and defence has been losing the ball. If I were their fan I’d be frustrated at my own defence and midfield. I’d have a go at my players. That’s what I meant. My language has some limitation. Pardon me.

I felt this about Gini previously. But when he left I felt he has been world class for us and we lost a world class player… I took Gini for granted. Looks like I’m taking Ox for granted now… or today.

Decent half, they haven't troubled us much, need a 2nd goal though

Decent enough first half. We're 1-0 up, that's all that matters.

God I'm nervous about Virgil.

Jota, injury free, gets us 20 goals this season.

Not bad, Ox seems a little nervous and reserved compared to pre season… can only see us improving second half though with some of the options on the bench to come.

Maybe expected to much to blitz Norwich.
Our CBs look solid and FBs doing OK.
Ox is a complete passenger, Milly getting some tackles in, Naby came into it a bit more toward end of half, but would like him to do more with the ball.
Up front not a huge amount happening, look a little bit rusty with some first touches, but decent finish from Jota.
Miss someone like Fab in the middle to cover ground, get hold of the ball and boss things.

Need another one. Might see Bobby for Jota, maybe Fab for Ox.

It’s mind blowing. We played some decent football without Fab and with some rust and we even took the lead! Imagine we cranked the intensity up proper.

Gini did have some games where he went missing but he usually was always there to break up a attack or get us attacking.

Ox isnt offering anything, he is just running around. I want the lad to do well but i gotta say he has been disappointing today. Keita is doing subpar but milly and ox are looking slow.

Defence, specially cbs looking calm. Costas started well imo but faded off. Front three are trying but its harder to do anything with ball when you have to get the ball.

Keita really spices it up. Never saw him that aggressive. Tsimikas doing well, we do not lose a beat with him compared to Robbo. But we need a 2nd goal or the last 5 minutes will be havoc.

Cantwell looks like the perfect replacement for grealish at villa. Lad can't stamd up for more than a couple of minutes

Don't think Thiago is injured as someone has said? He got minutes in the last pre-season game. I thought he just didn't have enough fitness, like Bobby.
