I think we'll see Kane at the Emptihad before the 31st, it's almost inevitable!!

      Yep, reckon he'll go too.
Would say Spuds know they have them over a barrel on price, and just squeezing them.
They've already spent over 60mill on a CB and winger I think, not sure they'd have done that without knowing some money coming in.

I don’t think they will now , it’s just too late in the day now

Pretty sure they will sell him, Levy will happily leave it to the final day of the transfer window to maximise the fee. City if they can shift a couple will do it.

I reckon Kane to City and then Jiminez to Spurs all within a couple of hours of each other before the window ends.

The thing is you can't spread all this and speak on it when you are as offensive as the rest, albeit in other ways.

In just some of your latest posts you've referred to some females as 'cranks' and used the term 'sheepshagging inbred cu*ts' to describe Leeds fans.

That doesn't offend me but I'm sure it's very offensive to some, and i'm sure 99% of the forum members are offensive in some way.

Fine, but at least in another thread I'll F***ing own it and say I've sang "Chelsea Rent Boys.....Hello Hello".......but I also understand why a section of our support have been asking for us to jib it for at least the last two seasons.

And yeah I'll call Leeds fans sheepshaggers all F***ing day, the wool cu*ts!!

HR understand your point about the chant being binned but what has the No History chant got to do with anything? They haven't got any!!!!

Excuse my ignorance on the matter.

It's F***ing sh*t, unforunately, two European Cups and the trophies over the last decade or so suggest they now do have a history.

But only recent history, and like City, only achieved by dirty oil money.
Any cub and any manager in the country could achieve what either of them have achieved with the millions that have been poured into these clubs.
Mid table mediocrity with poor club structure, average managers, piss poor fan base (which they still have) and they think they have a become a top top club because some Arab/ Russian decides  to fire a billion pounds at them. And PSG in the same category.
Won’t be many years before the oil runs out or the owners tire of their play things, and all will be back to normal.

Couldn’t agree more - people seem to forget City, Chelsea and PSG have 100% purchased their trophies.

That's life. We can't pick our owners. It's the same as we cannot choose our parents. The kid with rich parents doesn't have to work for his supercars and possessions while the other has to put in a shift at the Asda to make ends meet. One has it easier than the other.

What made us special is that we achieved the top trophies with more limited resources. While after spending billions some clubs still underachieve relative to their spending.

Watching the match again, Salah is just absolutely head and shoulders above everyone.

World class game in, game out. So lucky to have him.

I think it's clicked in his head that the title for "Best player in the world" will soon be up for grabs, looking at the age of Ronaldo and Messi and Salah is stepping up his game. Seems to have done some work with his right foot as well.

Would love for Mo to be top scorer in the League again this season.

Mbappe and Haaland will share the “best player” title for a while. They’re only in early 20s while Salah is 29.

Are you seriously trying to make a comparison between Salah and Messi/Ronaldo?

City have spent more money and have bigger name players on the whole but our bench is just as strong for what we need it for to challenge.

      Kelleher
      Konate
      Gomez
      Tsimikas
      Keita
      Milner
      Chamberlain
      Elliott
      Jota

That's a possible bench for us this season

Firmino is the bench player. Jota is ahead of him.

Because 2 generational talents doing what they’re doing in their mid/late 30s doesn’t mean everyone else can do it. They’re in a league of their own.

They can sell Kane and we'll sell them Origi for half of what they get.
You know, Wolves made a bid for Origi a year or two ago (Origi rejected the move), and perhaps there might be continued interest from Nuno even now at Spurs. You'd think that Spurs would aim a bit higher in terms of a replacement up top, but if they simply want to make Son the main main and instead bring in a backup striker then Origi might be a consideration, assuming that Nuno is still interested of course

That's a possible bench for us this season
It is a strong bench, and certainly better than a lot of the benches we've seen in recent years. But if one were to nitpick there are still areas to improve that bench.

For starters Kelleher isn't convincing as backup. In his last preseason start he conceded four goals from four shots on target.

The other position in the squad where we would see a dropoff if the starter got injured would be RB. Unlike LB where we have a senior LB backing up Robertson in Tsimikas, the RB spot doesn't have a legit backup for Trent.

The midfield is strong, but a little bit brittle.
