First 11 - During AFCON

I heard just yesterday that the likes of Salah, Mane and Keita could be out for up to 7 games during AFCON, not too sure how much truth there is to this, but with this in mind, it did get me thinking who would replace them.

Naturally, Bobby would come in with Jota but I don't have a clear cut choice for the 3rd man also do we think Keita would be a first time pick around then and if so who would we want to replace him.

Keen to hear your thoughts on what the starting 11 would be during the AFCON.

That group probably wouldn't be in contention to start an early cup game anyway, certainly in the case of Alisson given that Kelleher starts all cup games.

I'd probably let Firmino get a start

Something I'd forgotten about. Google says between 3 and 26 of January, a split break like last  time. Guess that's why they miss so few games. A bit of luck.

I hope they somehow find a loophole for Keita to miss it. I don't trust Guinea, they are suspicious to me in terms of know-how and good-will. So far they always found a way to make our boy injured.

I like your team. I think AOC will be pushing for an attacking place too.

Just reading that premier league clubs are refusing for certain players to leave to play for their nation if they go to a ‘red list’ country.

I wonder if that would effect the AFCON?
