Seems like all the nonsense that went on last time was for nothing because nothing has really changed, there are still going to be players unable to play.

It’s even more frustrating when the likes of Fab will be going away but probably won’t even play for Brazil.

Should’ve just refused the call ups again. Let fifa try and ban the players, it’s their own fault for the scheduling during a pandemic.

If I've understood it properly, players who are vaccinated to red list countries on return will isolate for 10 days but will be released for training and match games, but then return to isolation !
Have I just made that up, but that's the interpretation I get from the very vagueness of it all

Alisson and co won't play next game because they do not want to release them early.

They are ok to play and only need to isolate when not playing , they don’t need to quarantine when they come back

The issue is Brazil play Friday and we then play Saturday so we will be missing Alisson and Fab against Watford

WATFORD we’re asked to put the match back till Sunday or Monday but refused. Clearly seeing the opportunity to play against a weakened side.
Hope we batter the miserable sly cu*ts.

We have to play the game on Saturday because we're playing in Europe on Tuesday. There's no alternative date available.

Watford have a new manager as well so will be buzzing.
Is there any chance our Brazilians can get a private jet and get back in time?

As good as Fab and Alisson are, if we can’t manage to beat a team like Watford without them then quite frankly, we don’t deserve to be winning the league.

      Agree.

The international windows are a big issue that needs addressed but if we are worrying about beating the likes of Watford without our keeper and DM then we have bigger fish to fry.

International football is the absolute worst. Does anybody actually look forward to it? Barring of course the tournaments every couple of years

Is Tiago fit yet, and did he travel for the internationals, or is he still recovering ?

I think we can all agree that there is a very good chance that he won’t be available.

Not the clubs fault. Would’ve been fine if it wasn’t for another poorly arranged international break.

The UK is going to remove like 50 countries from the red list next Monday, including Brazil. Only 7 countries will remain: Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Haiti, Panama, Peru and Venezuela.

Since Brazil played in Venezuela, not sure if that will have an impact on our players having to quarantine because they vinisted a red list country in the past few days.

      Quote from srslfc
      Agree.

The international windows are a big issue that needs addressed but if we are worrying about beating the likes of Watford without our keeper and DM then we have bigger fish to fry.

The international windows will be restructured which everybody wants. But only if there is a WC every 2 years, which nobody wants. But you can't have the tournaments without the windows. When you're not guaranteed to get to tournaments every 2 years as England do, the windows are important.

People will argue about who pays the players, but that's irrelevant really. They all came through their own country's national set ups long before they ever arrived at their current clubs, and the different FA's rely heavily on the international revenue to help maintain that.

The Brazilians have played for their country, so that rules out a ban on the way back. Whether Jürgen is prepared to play them 36 hours after their latest international game, and jetlag and quarantine issues to deal with, is another thing.

Just read an article on TIA. So Athletico are able to postpone their domestic game straight after the internationals meaning they can train and rest whereas we are struggling to get our two best players into the country.

It's this bullshit along with the European teams allowed 5 subs in game that drives me nuts. Why dont the English government and the Premier League do everything in its power to make sure English teams are successful and not hinder them with this crap. Athletico have a huge advantage over us now..
