I think it’s because he has shown that he can do the business within the Bundasliga and it’s less “physical”

we bought a few Aquilani springs to mind . I just wonder if we need "potential" especially £100mil of it. Mind you UTD just spent £70 mil on a 30 year old so who knows what is a fair price anymore.
Regardless of price or value is there a midfielder who would be a starter rather than a squad player so not Rice or Tielemans a young 25 year old Stevie would be perfect but I cant think of anyone close to his quality

Don't personally rate Tielemans. If Klopp is wanting or waiting on Bellingham I'm fine with that but I'm not sure he's the instant gratification that everyone wants. Can't think of too many midfielders that we've bought that have come in right away and started on fire? Fab, Thiago, both took a little bit of time to get comfortable with our play? That's why I keep saying, I know people think that buying a midfielder (or two) is the answer to our problems, but personally I don't see it. I mean had Thiago and Fab played against United I think we beat them, but good luck finding another Fab and Thiago and convincing a team to get rid of them.
