Feel bad for Elliott, he had made a really good start to the season too. Hopefully we will see him again this season but may not be the case.

Aside from the injury taking the shine away from the game, it was a massive 3 points against a tough team. Moments of concentration lapsed again with a few but luckily we got away with it.
Surprised Jota went off instead of Mane, I know Mane got that much needed goal but his shooting has been poor of late and he stopped passing the ball the more the game went on without his goal.

Thiago unlucky not to have a goal and assist to his name today.

Good result to keep up with the rest, good performance with better finishing we would of pulled away earlier.

Superb display, superb result. Puts into perspective our average display against Chelsea two weeks ago which was as average a display on the field as it was in the stands (not very impressive atmosphere). But this was the perfect antidote to that. Well played!

Pretty positive signs so far when it comes to Elliot. He was able to clap while being stretchered off and he posted a pic where he seems to be in good spirits. It’s a devastating injury but he seems to be taking things well so far.

It’s going to be tough for the fans but we should try to remain positive just like he is. We played really well and we’re joint top. Getting the third goal after the injury was a good way to brighten the day a little.

Yeah his all round play was good. And he kept getting into great positions. Just needs to get his shooting boots on and he will be banging them in again. Hopefully that one will get his finishing confidence up.
