Depends on what comes with it.

If he's got a fracture or fractures and needs surgery it'll be 4-6 months I'd say. If it's just a dislocation and nothing else maybe 3 months.

There must be ligament damage as well, no?

      Dislocation , what's that anyone know 3 months ?

Dislocation in itself isn't so bad. I'd say 2-3 months out. But if some bones were broken, or even worse if ligaments were torn, then it can be a lot longer. With that kind of impact, we can expect the worst unfortunately.

So sorry for Elliot but that aside what a performance aside from the finishing, got to do better than that, because someone will take advantage of it one day. Mane and Robbo were very poor today.

Yes that's quite common although I think it's fractures and the need for plates/screws that increases the recovery time as you need to spend a longer time in a cast.

Might be wrong though, it's been 10+ years since I did a job in orthopaedics!

Either way, it's all speculation. Just hope it's a dislocation and nothing more and we see him again this season.

I had a dislocated ankle and walked a mile home on it. Well hobbled. Not sure if I caused any more damage doing that. Got it relocated and had 4 weeks in plaster.
Let’s hope that's all Harvey has. Then the fitness training of course.

Matip i thought was great too massively underrated on the ball and his ability to bring it out from the back with his 12m stride.

MOM for me he was so good, let's hope he has an injury free season. Well done Joel

All depends on what damage has been caused to the ligaments- if nothing serious then could be back by end of the year

Agree with that, thought he was F***ing immense today.

Also thought Matip was outstanding as well today. Superb play from him for the first.

Hope Harvey is well, good to see him post that positive message. Definitive sickener and over shadows what was a good performance.

Good to hear Harvey's injury may not be as bad as it looked.

Just came on to say how good Hendo was when he came on. Pinging passes around, and also helped sort out a wee bit of a careless spell we slipped into after the 2nd goal. Wasn't on long enough to get MOTM, but he was excellent.

Funny as f**k hearing the pundits say Thiago wouldn't be able to handle the intensity and atmosphere.

      Lad is pure world class.

Got a feeling he has had to handle a few fair few atmospheres  in his illustrious career , hardly a newbie is he

I was 10 at the time. Picked up by the bizzies for scrumping, and was terrified for them to drop me near my house. Would have got battered. So told them no one was home, and got them to drop me at my non existent Aunties a mile down the road. When we got chased, my  mate fell, rolled down a grass bank and into me knocking me off a 3ft high wall, and landing on my ankle. I got caught, the cops were called, took me to the station first. No medical aide. Questioned me and a mate who had stayed with me, then offered us a lift home. Not F***ing likely. that was pain I haven't experienced since.  :)

Yes Mane scored a goal, but my God was he awful. Been far to poor for far too long.

      Prayers sent Harvey's way.

      Fab MOTM.

      Salah looked great

Hendo put on a clinic in his time.

      Robbo defended really well.

Awful? Are you for real? The guy was everywhere, superb positioning and superb energy - then capped off this display with a great touch and swivel goal.

      F**k off with that sh*te

He missed about eight chances before he took his one. That's the problem with him now, he needs a large amount of chances before he finally scores and that's not a top level striker. We'll be in games where that one chance is all we'll get and if he misses it we draw/lose.

The problem is he can't be dropped because they left us with no other alternative. Hence Ox was a CF today. Typical FSG. They done it last year and they've done it again.

I think it's still not happening in front of goal for Sadio as it used to but the all round game is a lot closer to his best than it was last season. Hopefully the composure in front of goal comes back in the next few weeks.

Firstly good luck to wee Harvey, it’s sounds as though it’s not as bad at first sight, so hopefully  he’ll be back soon enough ,

As for the game, well maybe it’s just me but i don’t think we got out of third gear again, we didn’t need to, Leeds were a shambles, we should have been 3 up at least by HT, if we were more clinical, Mane couldn’t hit a coo’s arse with a banjo, but he kept going and got his goal in the end, but he’s way off kilter, thought Thiago and Harvey bossed it until that f***in thug took him out, Alisson, Trent, Virgil, Robbo gave 6/7 out of ten performances, Matip, Fabinho, Harvey,Thiago, 8’s, Salah a 7, Jota & Mane 6, Hendo 6, and Ox wasn’t on long enough to judge,

I’m confident we can go on a run of games unbeaten, we have a swagger about us we didn’t have last season, you can see how good it must feel for those boys having the security of a strong back 5, and boosted by a midfield that dominated for long periods both against Chavs and again today at Leeds, we were so dominant that even Matip was up and around their box, he looks like a new player, he oozes confidence and his charges forward with the ball are a delight to see, it’s early days yet but I do have a very good feel about this team, we are going to take some stopping that’s for sure.

Well done boys, wasn’t pretty at times but you can only play what’s in front of you, onward’s and upwards.

You see on the replay on MOTD2 that Struijk has both feet off the ground and is more or less flying into Elliott. Once you're taking two feet off the ground then that's reckless territory. That's a deserved red card.
