If anyone ventures down the arse end of Cornwall, I'd recommend The Swordfish in Newlyn.
A fishermans pub, full of great characters, great beer, and a proper throwback. If you don't like it rough and ready, don't bother, if you do the craic is great.
Also well worth a visit, is The Lamp and Whistle in Penzance.
Craft beer pub, with loads of different rums, Brooklyn Lager on tap, all the stuff made by monks.
It's a tiny place, and the landlord is a bit of an arse, but the beer makes up for it.
Ron Jeremy has his own rum.
Other places that are good; The Admiral Benbow, The Turks Head and if you like a bit of rough, The White Lion and the London.
My liver needs a rest.
