I was in town last night Joey and surprisingly enough it cost £16 going into town from West Derby and then £20 going back there. Split between five of us, so I was pleasantly surprised. It's the amount of money I spent on ale that upset me. But that was my own fault.. 
I'm afraid I was very, very drunk!
I sound like a killjoy but I hate the idea of paying twice as much for sh*t ale, paying twice as much to get in clubs I don't like and risking getting bottled twice as much as the number of knobheads who go out at New Year doubles!
Had a good night though!
I was very comfortable in ours with a few mates, and was pretty happy at beating my bluenose mate 3-0 at half time on FIFA when we went down to see me Mam and Dad at 12 bells!
I did get immensley drunk though, you still have to don't ya? No taxi fare for me though, just fell into bed at 4:30am, tired and slightly kettled!
And broke me bed
Woke up at 9 o'clock this morning, counted the bottles and cans in me room (well into the 40's, not including the discarded and empty bottle of Baileys
) and tried to adjust me eyes with a bit of light reading! I swiftly realised I was still drunk and went back to sleep!
