Appears Gomez played them on both timea and Robbo needs to do better with that clearance. Could have easily stopped it with his right foot but is too left footed and didn’t hit it clean.

Was just going to say about that. One of the most frustrating things is watching a professional footballer almost contort their body just to hit a ball with their 'right' foot.

First 30mins we should’ve been out of sight but then the midfield started to get sloppy, Trent was getting beaten too easily and then everybody completely switched off. Mo and Jota aren’t dropping back to support enough. Matip has been like bambi on ice every time he’s sticking a leg out to block the ball, was caught out of position on the first goal and Alisson probably could’ve gotten down sooner.

Mo has been quiet since his penalty miss and the midfield isn’t looking anywhere near as solid as the weekend.

Need to wake up and start taking our chances, pathetic end to that half. Literally threw that half away and it was clear it wasn’t a surprise either which is worrying. Got to take your chances.

It's not all bad. But we lost our focus for 5 minutes and immediately suffered the consequences.

Gomez just came back from a long injury, and isnt up to speed. His positioning was aweful for their firsr goal.

That said, we have controlled the game and should be controlling the game in second half. Lets just hope we convert our chances in second half.
