Agree with the above post, dominated in the first half although trailed 1  2 at the interval. Mo Salah made up for his penalty miss by scoring, in the second half. Cracking goal by Jordan Henderson to win the game. The Anfield crowd certainly had their money's worth !

Never give up. We may not have the world's best 11, and may not play well every minute, but we keep trying to find ways to win games. Missed a pen and conceded two goals thereafter. So what. We kept going and never stopped trying. It is this never give up spirit that drove us to win the game.

A hurried team display that it was littered with too many mistakes and awful finishing (chronic problem), however, we won.
The clumsy Matip was at fault with the two of Milan's goals, we could have lost this game easily!
The outstanding player was Fabinho along with Henderson. Thiago is a great asset for LFC on and off the pitch, he encourages all the players from the sub-bench, and when he is on the pitch, excellent attitude.
Origi remains a dud, he was awful no contribution whatsoever, he was in the team by name and not by effort, no wonder no clubs come for him.

      Good luck lads against Palace.

Total wrong. Check your facts. One assist for Mo’s goal. Too bad we didn’t have players who can score three goals for us before kick off. I too can say whatever I wish.

Not the game I was watching, apart from a 5 minute lapse LFC dominated.

This tie with Milan reminds me of when we faced Real Madrid under Brendan Rodgers, with Milan playing the role of that LFC side this time around.

At the time Real were at the top of their game with a world class squad, whereas we had just made it back to the CL after about 5 years out (Milan are back after 7 out). Unsurprisingly Real dominated both fixtures, and I see the same thing happening here unless the last game is a dead rubber.

Great to see us dig down and get a result after a kinda of sucker punch at the end of the first half giving away both those goals despite controlling the game. Much like the Leeds game we could (prob should) been 2 or 3 up after 30 minutes with the chance we created. Nice to see Gomez back playing and really enjoyed that flick pass from Origi on the Salah goal.

With a draw happening in the other match it does shape out well for us early on in the group.

Well I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish (the highs and the 5 to 10 combined minutes of lows).

If you gained very little enjoyment from a match like that, then football probably isn't for you

Jürgen picked a good team last night and the team didn't let him down ! but what a bench we had too!, world class players ready to step in and keep the game safe or up the tempo ,I still think Fabinho and Thiago are the best combination in midfield but Keita did put a shift in first 60 minutes ,Ox needs to take his chances and play with a little more confidence ,that's my only criticism of a dominant display

Spot on on everything you just said. That team display in the first 40 minues was rubbish, nothing but shots and corners. As for the 2nd half, dont get me started took ages to level the game and then we done nothing until Henderson scored, after that we were lucky to hang on.

Crowd were sh*te to and Klopp, how hes still in the job I dont know. Need more then good luck v Palace

Imagine being Brown1… a non LFC fan, coming to a LFC forum, pretending to be a fan, to talk nonsense, in hopes of getting a reaction and negative attention because any attention is better then none… it’s actually hard to imagine…

I can’t even fathom how bad your life must be to be reduced to that.

Apart from the few minutes where the midfield seemed to stay too high at the end of the 1st half I thought that was a great game of football.
Very open attack for LFC. Attack for Milan.

Should have been 2 or 3 nil before some of the players seemed to switch off,
but they got away with it thanks to a great 2nd half (and Hendo wonder strike).

      Thought the pressing was excellent.
Some issues with being too slow playing out from the back but VVD solves that when he plays.
