Henderson on a yellow was also slightly fortunate to not get a 2nd booking for that professional pullback outside the Palace box. Not saying that it was a definite yellow, but he was fortunate. It was one of those where he probably would have gotten booked if he hadn't already have received a yellow earlier.

The booking Hendo got was for that pull back as Zaha was breaking, if he'd done it a 2nd time he'd have been walking.

Henderson did get booked for pulling Zaha back in the middle of the park and in the first half.

The incident I am referring to came much later than that, around the 70-75th minute iirc.

Enjoyed that. Not a pushover opponent but won with a solid performance.

Virgil is still rounding into top form. Doesn't seem to have reached the same level yet in terms of aerial work. It should come.

I haven't noticed any drop off in his form. It feels like he was never away.

Congratulations to VVD on his 76th win in 100 league games, a win rate of 76% with him  in the side. Congratulations to Mane on joining the 100 goal club. And congratulations to the players who have played every league game so far, and have therefore qualified for a league winners medal, in the event we win it.

With the win in the bag, I got distracted by updates from the story developing at City. So distracted that I missed the goal by Naby to wrap it up. Seems like he was shocked by it as well. So we got the job done, went back to the top of the league, and restored the 3 point gap to City. So if they lose their next two, and we win our next two, even the most dismissive bookie and pundit will have to take our title challenge seriously.
