Since the international break, Jota has looked off his game vs Leeds and Milan and today has been no different. Why has he always got to try and smash every shot he has 100mph and try to take the net off?! Absolutely no excuse for that piss poor miss.

Luckily Mane put us ahead not long after but it’s moments like that which can cost you 3 points.

Salah IMO has been standout player so far, been very creative, popping up everywhere and was unlucky not to score with the header that led to the Mane goal. Would be boss if he managed to get on the scoresheet and break into our top 10 scorers today.

We definitely need another goal, they’ve had too many moments which have caused us problems.

Poor start but we got gradually better throughout the half.  Not sure how Jota missed that chance - I think the stats nerds might have that as a '+0.9xG'!!

1-0 probably about the right scoreline though - Mane is looking better these last couple of games - involved in a lot more chances than he had been for a while.

Rocky enough start, they had a few chances, but got hold of the game and have dominated since.
Jota with the miss of the season so far, easier to score, decent header from Thiago in the lead up.
Milner doing well on his side defensively so far, Kostas doing fine too with some nice deliveries. Konate doing OK too.
Keep up the tempo now 2nd half and hopefully 2nd will come.
