Obviously Salah and Mane played very well but Alisson kept us in the game so I went with him.

Jota needs to improve a little. Hope Thiago is alright.

Yea dude, whereas I thought it was a wonder header, whilst a friend pointed out, that he probably meant it as a pass. Great to have proper CBs back.

Enjoyed that. Not a pushover opponent but won with a solid performance.

Jota did not have a good game but has been consistently good for us since coming over, cut him some slack. Rest him midweek and I bet he comes back in good form next weekend.

Konate will be a standout defender for us.

Virgil is still rounding into top form. Doesn't seem to have reached the same level yet in terms of aerial work. It should come.

Replacement fullbacks did well enough. Tsimikas our best corner taker? Certainly from the left foot.

Mo and Sadio both enjoying football, playing together and very dangerous. Dreamland to have both (and rested Diogo too).

Thought the midfield was good but not great today. Hope Thiago is alright and well done to Naby on that goal. Loved his celebration.

Zaha is either a cheating diver or a diving cheat. Despite that, Milner and friends contained him well.

Jordan Ayew is a miserable human being.

Could be a special season for us. Let's keep it going.

So now we're looking at a midfield of Keita, Hendo and Fabinho.

I predicted before the season, based on injury records, we'll have a midfield of Fab, Milner and Jones come December latest.
So Hendo did pick up a few injuries in the past so we should buy a replacement for him, Keita too so we should buy one for him too, Thiago too so we should also buy one for him, OX also gets injured a lot so we should've bought another replacement for him and finally Elliot's injury was also predictable since these things do happen so we also should've had him covered with a replacement for him too.

All in all we probably should've ignored that with Elliot we have about 8 guys vying for 3 spots while most other top 6 contenders have less than that. Oh and also all of these replacement have to be of the quality of Gini or better.

F***ing FSG! Can't even buy a replacement for each player that ever picked up more than one injury in a season! FSG OUT!!!!. BOOOOOO!!!!

Edit: oh sh*t, I just saw TAA's absence was due to illness. I'm gonna go look at TAA injury history and see if he missed a game or two in the past due to illness but I swear if he did then FSG-OUT! We would've had no need for Milner today had we brought in Hakimi for those very predictable instances of players being ill.

He won 100% of his aerial duels.

But I do worry that the AFCON will lead to us dropping points, so it might not even end up being a good team that beats us to the title.

I could see them faking an illness or injury (that ā€žhealsā€œ faster than assumed) if we look good. Thereā€™s a grey area that our doctors/players could use. At least Iā€˜d hope for it.

Yeah, I'm solely going on the eyeball test, which as you show here, can be inadequate in analysis. There were a couple of attacking headers where he didn't seem to me to get the same elevation we've seen before. He did get a head on those but they ended up not threatening. He also seems sometimes to not be running as well as before. I wouldn't have expected him to be like pre-injury at this point, but maybe he is. I certainly don't mean to suggest he is any kind of liability to us.

      3-0. I shouldn't have mentioned it.

By your constant referring to buy replacements are you also suggesting we get rid of these players or did you really mean to say cover for them?

39 points now from the last 15 league games and unbeaten.

Conceded 1 this season so far.

98.8 point season if you extrapolate.

      We're the F***ing business.
