Terribly sad news. Always thought that Sir Roger wasn't given quite the credit he deserved outside LFC circles. A great player whose achievements will never fade.

Very sad news as another one of Shankly's finest passes away. His record speaks for itself a footballing legend for club and Country .
went to his testimonial when he had to come back after finishing playing to receive it, very different times.
RIP and sincere condolences to his family and friends YNWA

RIP Sir Roger Hunt, a club legend, a real gentleman and my favourite all time player. I had the privilege to meet him quite a few times, always very humble and appreciative of the support he got from the LFC family.
Deepest condolences to his family and friends. YNWA.

Actual Liverpool Legend.  My old man did a scrapbook of when he went the games in the 60's and invariably it was Sir Roger's name in most of the headlines and newspaper clippings.

      RIP.
