Rest in Peace, Sir Roger. I've often heard from older Reds quite what a player you were.

One of the greats by all accounts, his stats are crazy.

One of the Liverpool greats who’s massive contribution helped to build the club into what it is now.
Fantastic memories of a great player in a great team created by a great manager.

RIP Roger, and condolences to your family and friends.
So sad to think that great side are all slowly departing.

billythered hit the nail on the red, was lucky enough to talk to Tommy Smith before his unfortunate passing, he made me a cup of tea, what a fella. I parked outside his house not knowing, and first of all, I think he wanted to tw*t me for parking there.
Never met Sir Roger, but what I've heard he was just the gentleman.

Went down with my dad ( who idolised him)to pay our final respects ,lovely turnout.

Roger Hunt will be fondly remembered, by all Reds fans, who where around, to witness this Liverpool legend from the past.
