I'm actually feeling pretty confident that we are going to smash them. They don't have any forwards that should trouble our starting defense.

I'd stick Bobby and let Jota come off the bench. Curtis-Fab-Hendo midfield for me. Trent-Matip-Virg-Robbo will do it for the back line. Team pretty much picks itself. Going to be nice to pick up these 3 points.

Attack from the start, have City on the back foot from the outset. I am sure we can win this game with the home crowd behind the players !

Defo mate. The scoring form were in it could be a good one. But also they will be up for it after losing the other night.

Got a ticket in the Kop for this one, so I'll hopefully be part of the 12th man that sees us over the line!

Looking forward to it & apprehensive in equal measures.

It's a good job they don't have any forwards that will trouble our defence as you put it.

In the real world they got about 7/8 players in their starting lineup who have got goals in them. They can hurt our defence from anywhere on the pitch.

Salah aside I'm not sure were a regular supply of goals/creativity is coming from.

So with that said I'd stick with Jones in midfield over keita for some creativity/goal threat/last 90 minutes etc  and I'd stick with Jota in attack. He's getting in the right positions ... but missing the chances as is mane currently. No issue if he starts bobby though.

We will have to be perfect in this game. They arnt vulnerable at the back like in previous visits. After a spend of 1/2 billion it looks like they have the defence sorted. They will always create and they will always score.

I'd take a point now and move on if I'm honest as much as I'd love the 3.

Tough game ... a must not lose if we have aspirations of challenging them for the title.

So to sum up ... milner at rb and same as midweek for me.

Well we’ve scored a minimum of 3 goals for the last 6 consecutive games and in 7 of our 9 games. City have scored 24 goals this season (6 of which were against Wycombe). We’ve scored 26 and despite Salah getting off to a flying start, he’s only got 8 of ours so we aren’t doing too bad on that front.

We are yet to go a game without scoring, City have failed to score on 3 occasions (4 if you include the Community Shield which their fans take so seriously).

      FYI after 8 games.

      top scorers all comps.

      1. Salah - 8 goals
      2. Mane - 4 goals
      3. Bobbi - 3 goals
      4. Jota - 3 goals

Then we have 5 players on 1 goal.

So yes Salah scoring loads, but others are contributing.

Not really tho. I would like to win every game, but at the end of day its just 3 points. Not a must win/must not loose game imo. We can still win the title if we loose against them. We just need to be better overall then the rest.

Cutis, Hendoand Fab in midfield for me. Mo, Mane and Bob to start. Jota usually makes a big impact coming off the bench.
No Trent, so i'd go for Gomez at r back. More for his pace. makes great recoveries when getting back. Millies solid enough, just lacks that pace now.

Whoever Jürgen goes with, we have to press, press, press from start to finish. we know they cant handle that and get really wound up. We also know it pays dividends.

      2-0 TO THE RED MEN.

Can't wait for this. Not very often I'm in a situation where I'm found wishing a Friday & Saturday away but that's certainly where I am at the minute. Counting down the hours til I can crack open a can on the bus to the ground 😂
