      I'd go:

                 Ally
      Milly Matip VVD Robbo
       Hendo Fab Jones
      Salah Firmino Mane

Milly hasn't let us down so far, hoping for more of the same, but he'll be tested by them more than Robbo would think.
Jones surely starts ahead of Keita in the middle with the 2 lads.
I'd slot in Bob instead of Jota who has played in fits and starts lately, while Bob took his 2 goals in Porto well and looked decent in general play.

      Massive game.
They'll probably look to bounce back from PSG.
Atmosphere should be electric, least I hope so.

      Should be interesting :)

Milner subbed early midweek tells me he will start at RB

Defo IMO. We need his experience and his form there has been very solid. Millie has always been one to raise his game in the crunch matches.

Otherwise Curtis and Jota to start. I fancy us to be all over them in front of the home crowd, with the application of pressure and the return of resilience being too much for City to bear.

I cannot believe there is a guy above who said he would settle for a point? Mad that. We've just tonked CL opposition and Mo is in sensational form.

We need to come out firing from the start, we can’t afford a slow 15-20 mins against these at the start because they’ll punish it.

I’d love to say we’d get a quick 2 goals and tighten up for the rest of the game but when do we ever? Frantic 3-2 I’ll go for in our favour.

I expect so. Also has a yellow card destined to happen too I think because can guarentee Grealish will be flinging himself around every time Milner gets within a few yards of him.

Usually seem to start fast against them in front of the home crowd. Off the top of my head I think we've been ahead within the first 10 minutes or so on 3 out of the last 4 times we've played them at Anfield (In front of spectators). Actually think we may have been 2 up after 10 in 19/20.

The 0-0 draw in 18/19 being the only exception in the last four meetings of this kind. My memory may not be completely correct, but I'm under the impression we were both level on points after about 9 or 10 games by the time this particular fixture came around and I believe both sides had only dropped points once during earlier draws. That game (from our perspective at least) certainly felt a lot different than the other meetings. We were still finding our feet in what felt like our first proper title challenge in years. I distinctly recall being terrified of losing and putting a foot wrong. City had just come off the back of a 100 point season, 20 or so more than we managed, so there was a lot of nerves due to the magnitude of the challenge we were facing and the incredibly slim margin for error. I think that feeling and atmosphere was echoed around the ground and soaked through to the players on the pitch.

Guess the point I'm trying to make is the importance of the crowd and the effect it can have on the outcome. The players will be much more confident on Sunday than they were on that day three years ago and the crowd certainly will too. If we're loud, boisterous and confident from the get go both on the pitch and off it, I can only see a Liverpool win.

Yep needs to be careful and doesn't need any encouragement to fly in doesn't Milner just hope his experience and nous will serve him well

Maybe my favorite memory of this fixture. Watched it from my son's hospital room with the sound down as he was asleep. Standing there waving my arms around at Sadio's goal like I had a case of St. Vitus' Dance, then had to run out of the room after Mo scored so I could let out a shout. A nurse though I might need some counseling. Great win.

Can't wait for this. Not very often I'm in a situation where I'm found wishing a Friday & Saturday away but that's certainly where I am at the minute. Counting down the hours til I can crack open a can on the bus to the ground 😂
I'm the same but half-apprehensive also!

Plus my bus-trip is 5-6 hours each way, so could be a lot of cans/bottles!!  ;D

if we get a man sent off can we please do a Chelsea style defending masterclass.

and I want to see more quality shooting from outside the box like weve been doing and like Messi.

Klopp has hinted there could be a change in system when discussing RB.
He’s apparently not a fan of it but chance we could go for a Chelsea set up with 3 CB’s and wing backs?

Definitely think there are games it would have its benefits. Gives Trent, Robbo or whoever is at full back a bit more freedom and wouldn’t put as much pressure on them (Trent in particular) when having to defend. Given we play such a high line, it wouldn’t be the worst system. Thiago when fit alongside Fab. Definitely think it has its advantages with the players we have but Klopp has commented in the past how he isn’t keen on it.

Hopefully a different game given we will have a full house this time.

Obviously will be a tough one given how they completely outplayed Chelsea last weekend but if we start fast I fancy us.

Totally agree, they will go at the right, but f**k it. Put them on the back foot. We are at Anfield for Gods sake, however if the lads dont perform, we are only 7 games in. A win would be great, Ive predicted 3-0, but we play them twice a season. Win the rest and we're good to go. Thats where we need to focus on even if we win.  Keep it real peeps
